The days fly by like the ticking on a clock. As soon as a day begins, it seems to end, bringing us closer and closer to our chance to save Baz.... Not that he needs saving. Baz is perfectly fine just the way he is, but he wants this, and I have to trust his decisions, I guess.
Penny thinks she found the spell. Something from Pinocchio or something I don't know. I just want him to be happy. That's all I ever wanted.
We have everything we need now. Baz's leg bounces nervously as he drives and I put my hand on it to steady it.
"Baz.... it'll be alright."
"But what if it isn't? What if after all of this, I'm still the same? What if--"
"Baz, honey. Your going to worry yourself sick if you keep this up. I'll be here for whatever comes next. You'll always have me." He grabs my hand, holding it in his.
"I love you, Simon Snow."
"I love you too, Basilton."
