Mornings Have Never Been So Good

I woke up with Scott's arms wrapped around me, his chest pressed against my back. I could feel his breath on my shoulder.

"Good morning," I say.

Scott moves behind me and kisses my shoulder. "Good morning. How did you sleep?"

"I slept great. Waking up with your arms around me has made my day."

"How about we stay like this all morning?"

I turn in his arms with a smile. "Can we actually?"

"School is closed for department meetings and my mom is going for a spa day with Lydia. Cora and Isaac are going on a double date with Malia and Kira. Boyd is meeting Erica's parents. Stiles is spending the day with his dad. I finished all my homework assignments and I could reschedule my workout till later tonight."

I kiss his neck. "I wouldn't mind watching. I think you're so sexy."

He moans. "I love you."

"I love you too." I stroke his cheek. "So much."

He kisses me slowly. I could stay like this forever. In Scott's arms, I feel safe. I feel loved. I feel invincible.

"I'm gonna make breakfast. Any requests?"

I kiss his chest and say "Strawberries and you?"

"Tempting." He kisses my forehead. "What are you in the mood for?"

I sigh. "I guess I could go for some pancakes."

He kisses me quickly. "Your wish is my command."

He grabs his boxers and slips them on before getting up. I grab one of his t-shirts and put it on along with my panties. I stand and walk around Scott's room. I see the pictures of him and Lydia. I see Stiles and him in lacrosse jerseys. I see the entire group sitting on the front steps of the school.

"You'll be in the next picture we take."

I turn and see him holding a plate of pancakes. He sits against his headboard and pats the spot next to him. I smile and sit in the spot he gestured to.

"Do you promise?"

"I promise." He kisses the tip of my nose. "Now eat up."

I take a forkful of pancake and feed it to Scott. He feeds me the rest and I laugh when he somehow gets syrup on his cheek. I kissed it off and he smiles at me.

"You look really hot in my shirt."

I smile. "Maybe I should wear your shirts more often."

"I'd like that."

I kiss him and my cell buzzes. We pull away and see a text from Cole. Can we talk? I really need to ask you something.

"Go," Scott says. "I'll be here when you come back."

"No. He can talk to me tomorrow. This morning is ours. He's not gonna ruin this for us. I'm yours and only yours. You're stuck with me."

"I like that. It sounds great."

I kiss him and smile when his hand rests on my hip. I grab his neck and pull him closer.

"I never thanked you."

Scott gets a confused look. "Thanked me for what?"

"Saving me. If I hadn't of met you, I wouldn't be here today. I'd have given up and I never would have had the life I have now."

"You saved yourself. I just helped you to remember that your life has meaning."

"Why can't you just accept the fact that your an amazing guy?"

"Because I'm not. I'm just me."

"Well, you're an amazing guy and all mine." I run my fingers through the front of his hair. "Emphasis on the word mine."

He smiles. "Yours."

"Can I meet your mom? Officially as your girlfriend?"

He nods and kisses my neck. "That would be great. I'd love to see how you guys get along." He works his way up to my cheek. "How would Friday night work?"

"It would be fantastic."

"Great. Any requests? I could make pasta or burgers or whatever you want. Friday's I make my mom dinner."

I smile. "I'll love whatever you make." I play with the hairs at the nape of his neck. "I plan to visit my mom soon. Try to reconnect with her as well. Afterwards, would you like to meet her? We have to set up another dinner with my dad. Cole interrupted the first one and he really wants to get to know you better."

"Sure. I'd be happy to come over again."

I roll us over so that I was on top. I grabbed his wrists and pressed them into the bed above his head. "I don't think you need to workout today. You'll be getting plenty of exercise with me."

"I hope you know that I'm completely powerless when it comes to you."

"I know. I love it." I kiss him quickly. "You were right about love. Love is strength. You're my strength."

"So were you. You're my weakness."

I trail my kisses down his chest slowly. Scott moans and I smile down at him.

"I love that I do this to you. That its me that gets to see you like this. Totally vulnerable and looking so hot as you do it. I love that I'm the one you chose to show this side to. I love that you have this special smile that only appears when you see me. I love that you never push me into doing anything. I love that you're so kind to everyone. I love that you love your friends so much and would sacrifice anything to help them. I love that you love your mom so much that you put her needs first. I especially love that you love me."

Scott turns us over and kisses my neck. "Wanna hear what I love about you?" I nod. "I love that you only say what you truly mean. I love that you're not afraid to stand up for what you believe in. I love that you believe in second chances. I love that you let me into your mind. I love that you let me into your heart. I love that your eyes seem to sparkle when you see me. I love that you've been able to handle Lydia. I love that you are so independent which is completely sexy. I love that you laugh without a care in the world. I love that you let me be a part of your life. I love how you make me feel. I just love you."

I kiss him softly. I can't believe that I'm so lucky. I can't believe that he's mine.

"I'm so happy for you two," Cora says as she stood in the doorway. "Get dressed. We have pizza downstairs. We got bored on our double date so we decided to turn it into a triple date. Now get your butts dressed and downstairs."

Scott laughs. "We'll meet you down there."

"Ok." She starts to leave but stops. "I want details later."

Scott tosses a pillow at her and she laughs as she leaves. I joined her and Scott buries his face in my stomach. If life stays like this, it'll be perfect.
