Blow the Old Year Away!

 New Years eve! It's finally going to be a new year! And five months since Jonathan adopted me! "Jonathan do you know what today is?" I ask "You can call me dad, right?" He said "Do you know what today is?!" I ask again "New Years Eve," he said smiling like he knew what today was "No, well yes, but no!" I say "Then what is today?" "Today is the five month anniversary oh meh, yes meh!" I say bowing "Oh right! I knew that, well I gotta go so I'll see you later!" He left. A couple minutes later my besties come in "Wait he didn't go because of the musical?" I ask as they come in "Nope! Who? Jonathan?" Asked Philip I nod. "No musical today!" Said Philip I did a mad face that quickly turned into a sad face, back into my normal face. "Zo how about we go see Moana, again." Said Daveed "Go Lin or go home!" I yell "So that's a yes?" I nod "YES! let go!" Said Philip heading out the door. Daveed and I look at each other and just laugh as we head out the door.

 2 hours later

" Man I love that movie!" Said Philip as we walk out of the movie theater. "That one scene gets me every time! It reminds me of your death!" I say looking at Philip "Hey, its a Disney movie! Every Disney movie has to have a loved one die, it's tradition!" Said Daveed "I know, but still!" I say. We get in the car and I text Jazzy it basically went down like:

Meh: Hey

Jazzy: Hey

Meh: I went to go see Moana again

Jazzy: Go Lin or go home!!!

Meh: Too tru yo

Jazzy: I gtg bi

meh: bi

Short and sweet.   Now what do I do? I kept thinking about the present my mom gave me, I really wanted to open it!

 Back at meh house

" Where were you?" Asked Jonathan has we came through the door "The movies, we went to go see Moana again." Said Daveed "Again?" Philip hit him on the arm "Dude he wasn't supposed to know that we saw it before!" He whispered "Well sorry! I didn't know!" He said back.  "Sorry." I say "Oh, I'm not mad at you Zoe, I'm mad at them for not telling me!" "Wait whaaaaaaat?" Said Daveed Jonathan nodded "How dare you not tell me you were going to see Moana?! I wanted to see it too!" "Whaaaaaaaat" Said Daveed again. All three of us looked a little confused, what the heck is going on here?!
