Chapter X: Raid

Chris had been gone longer than Bandit had thought. Knowing Bandit, she wanted to go find him. "Courtney, Sara I'm heading out to find Chris. Will you to be okay by yourselves?" Bandit yelled. "Yes we will be fine!" Sara yelled back. "Okay I won't be long, don't get into any trouble." Bandit said. "Okay bye Bandit." Sara and Courtney yelled. After Bandit left Sara (who was in her room upstairs) here'd a noise downstairs. Almost as if someone had smashed a window open. "Woah what was that? Courtney are you okay?" Sara yelled. "What, what time is it?" Courtney replied. Courtney was obviously half asleep. Sara had a broken leg so it would be hard for her to walk down two flights of stairs. Since she was staying in Bandits room on the third floor. "We'll better go see what happened." Sara mumbled to herself as she grabbed her crutch and hobbled down the stairs. "Hello?" Sara asked when BOOM! Someone had thrown a smoke bomb. "Ahh who's there?" Sara yelled. BOOM! Another smoke bomb and a shrapnel bomb went off. Sara fell to her knees and covered her head. "Sara what's going on and what's with the smoke?" Courtney yelled. "Courtney get on the floor and cover your head and get out! We are being attacked!" Sara yelled as she went out the front door. "We're being attacked? by who?" Courtney mumbled. "By me. I hope you didn't get to cozy awaiting for me to come back. We'll now sister I say we finish this here and now." Mikey said. "Mikey? I I thought you were dead!" Courtney said. "We'll you thought wrong. All those years mocking me that I didn't have and fire, we'll guess what. I do." Mikey held his hand out and a huge blue flame emerged from it. "Oh shit. This is not fare I'm not in any condition to fight." Courtney said. "Exactly that's why it will be so easy to defeat you here and now!" Mikey said. Mikey fire a lot of fire at Courtney. He also used his puppetry to make it even harder for her to fight back. He rapped his puppet strings around her and held her tight and he started to burn the strings that held her. "Ahh" Courtney yelled in pain. She was too weak to even think about fighting back. "Mikey stop please! I'm begging you!" Courtney said. "Too late for apologies Courtney. Too late" Mikey said.

The smoke had filled the house and Sara had no chance of getting back inside. "What should I do what should I do." she kept mumbling to herself. "Sara!" "Ace you're alive and okay!" Sara exclaimed. "I'm fine what's going on and where are the others?" Ace asked. "Chris and Bandit went out and Courtney is inside and in pain I can feel it." Sara said. "I'll get her out." Ace said. "But ace.." "don't try to stop me Sara I love her and I won't let her due. Not yet anyways." Ace said. Ace rusted through another window downstairs. He ran up the stairs until he found Courtney and Mikey. "Mikey you're alive" ace exclaimed. "Of course I am you idiot now step aside as I kill her!" Mikey said. "No!" ace shadow possessed Mikey to let Courtney go and then he punched Mikey right in the jaw and threw him out the window. Hope you like dying" Mikey yelled from outside. Ace picked up Courtney (like a mother holding a baby) and carried her threw the smoke to outside. "Ace you found her. But she's burnt real bad and not moving." Sara said. "Omg what happened" Bandit and Chris yelled. "We'll I'll tell you later help her!" Sara insisted. So countless hours later Courtney started to regain consciousness. "Ugh wh.. what happened." Courtney muttered. "Courtney you're okay" Ace came over and hugged her tight. "Ace you're alive!" Courtney said and started to get a little teary eyed. "Yes I'm okay are you?" "yes I'm fine just a little burnt, but I'll be fine." "good".
