Chapter XV: Going Back

It was later that night and everything was calm and peaceful in the woods. Ace was standing watch in a tree, he hadn't seen anything unusual. He decided to just fall asleep for a min or two. "Ace, Ace you Baka you fell asleep!" Chris said. "What ahh!" Ace yelled he fell out if the tree. "Courtney is gone!" Chris said. "Oh great can't she stay in one place!" Ace said. He went to go find her. He found her sitting by the stream. She looked sad and weak. "Courtney? You okay? Your all alone and everyone was worried that you have been taken again." Ace said. "I'm fine just needed some time to think. Why didn't you kill Mikey when you had the chance?" Courtney asked. "Because I couldn't kill him in front of you." Ace said. "He's going to hurt us even more if we don't stop him." Courtney said. "It will be fine, we can stop him when you're healed." Ace said. "But you could have killed him then and we wouldn't have this problem." Courtney said. "No but we would have complications, look Courtney just trust me. Okay?" "okay." It was another day or so later, Courtney was feeling better and everyone was getting ready to take on Mikey. "Courtney are you sure you are ready for this?" Ace muttered. "Yes I'm sure, I can handle it." she replied. "okay, everyone ready to go then?" Ace asked. "Yep!" Everyone was headed to Mikey's castle. But all of a sudden Ace was pinned to a tree along with Bandit, Sara and Chris. "Ah!" the knives went through there skin into the trees. "What the hell just happened!" Bandit yelled. "We'll hello everyone, long time no see." Mikey said coming out of the darkness. "Mikey!" Courtney said. "Hello sister, I've been meaning to talk to you. I have a compromise. You come with me and I'll let all your friends go. You decline and I kill them in front of you." Courtney looked at her friends in pain and attached to a tree. "You promise not to hurt them?" "of course!" "then fine I'll go with you." "Courtney no don't do it!" Ace yelled. "Ace it's okay, I'll be fine." Courtney said walking away with Mikey.

Mikey walked Courtney up to the castle entrance. "Here we are Courtney. Now you know the rules, no back talk, no sass, and you must wear a dress." Mikey said. "I understand." "Good, because you wouldn't want anything to happened to your friends now would you?" "no I wouldn't." Mikey lead Courtney to her room. It was large yet highly secured, so she would not try anything. "Get dresses." Mikey demanded shutting the door and locking it behind him. "And if I ever see you in those clothes again, I will kill your friends or make your life miserable." Courtney put on the long blue dress with a diamond studded belt. She never liked being in dresses since she can't do much in them. "Wow, you actually look presentable." Mikey said walking in. "Thank you." "Now, if you snoop around or try to find information about anything! I will torture you, understand?" "Yes." Courtney said glaring out the window. She gave her life up for the guy she loved, and her friends. "Ace how could you let her leave like that" Bandit said slapping Ace repeatedly. "I'm sorry I couldn't! he would have hurt her." Ace said. "You jerk! she could be dead now, ever think of that!" Bandit said. "He could be hurting her. She can't defend herself without her powers. She is just a normal scared girl." Chris said almost tearing up. "It's okay Chris, she's strong." Sara reinsured him. "But what if..." "Chris don't even talk like that, Courtney would never turn evil unless she was being controlled." Sara said. "I guess, but she is probably scared or fighting for her life we have to save her." "And we will Chris, after I kill Mikey for all he has done to her and us!" Ace said.
