Chapter XXI: Deadly Past

"Ace hunny are you okay?" Bandit asked rubbing Ace's back. Bandit, Chris, and Sara had arrived earlier. "Yea I'm fine but it's been two days and still no sign of her. For all I know she's dead." Ace said putting his hands on his face. "She's not dead, I'm sure of it. She a strong girl." "I know she is, but still." "Just go get some rest you've been awake for 36 hours." Bandit said pointing at the stairs. "Fine."

"Bandit I've got it!" Chris said running in the door. "You've got what?" "you asked for a DNA sample of the blood, it's not Courtney's. It's Tara's." "Omg this is great but why is Tara's blood here, and where is Courtney?" "we'll find her, just another clue tho!" "We should talk with Mikey see if he knows anything." "Okay!"

The gang decided they needed to talk with Mikey about this, because he knows everything. "Okay so how are we going to do this?" Chris asked. "We go in and find Mikey and make us tell him where Courtney is." Bandit said. "And then I kill him!" Ace said. "No Ace not yet." Sara said giving him a hug. "Okay Ace go ahead we will stand guard." Ace walked in the front doors. Same as always no guards around. He walked up to Mikey's office. He still hadn't fixed the doors from when Ace kicked them in last time. "Hello? Mikey?" "Ace why are you here?" Mikey said looking up from his desk. "Because I want to know where Courtney is!" Ace said slapping his hand down on Mikey's desk. "Listen Ace I don't know where she is. But she killed Tara!" Mikey said standing up. "No she didn't! Courtney's not like that! she wouldn't kill unless it was out of defense!" Ace said. "You obviously don't know my sister like I do. She killed our parents when she was 5 years old. I could never forgive her, and still can't." Mikey said butting his bottom lip. "Wait she killed them?" "yes she made dad look back when the semi crushed his body! it was her fault even tho he was yelling at me, she still caused him to crash!" "It sounds like it was your fault not hers. And she's not a killer she's a young girl scared for her life from you!" "Good that's how it should be!" "Fine I'll find her my self!" Ace said storming out of his office and out the front door.

"Ace did you find her?" Bandit asked. "No now please leave me be I have to think." Ace said walking away. "Ugh boys!" Bandit said throwing her arms up.

Ace was walking threw the woods when he here'd someone scream. "Hello?" "splash" Ace could here some one jump into the water. They were pretty close to the ocean so he thought he check it out. "Haha traitor don't mess with us bitch!" some guy said walking away from the edge of the cliff. "Hey did you throw a girl in there?" "Yea some fire chick, she was getting annoying and not doing as she was told. So she's probably dead now. later dude." The guys said walking away. "Oh no it can't be!" Ace ran and jumped off the cliff into the icy waters below. "Cough cough" Courtney! Courtney!" Ace yelled trying to stay above surface. He swam under to see if he could see her, and sure enough she was falling towards the bottom. he swam as fast as he could towards her. He grabbed her waste and pulled her up. "Courtney! please wake up!" he was holding her above surface trying to swim towards the land. He got there and laid her down. "Courtney please wake up!" "A-Ace let me die please." Courtney said holding his hand. "No I won't let you die! I can't lose you. I need you!" Ace said kissing her. "Ace, kill those men I'll be fine. Just kill them." Courtney said in a hushed tone. "Why?" "Just do it please!" "Okay just stay awake and breathing!"

Ace ran back towards the guys. "Hey you guys!" "Hey it's the dude from the cliff what you need buddy?" "That girl you threw ya she's my love." "Wow dude that slut! You must have some pretty low standards!" The guy said mocking him. "What did you do to her?" Ace asked. "Oh the usual, beaten, harassed, sexually offended, and thrown off a cliff. All orders from Mikey of course." "Mikey told you to do this!" "Yea!" Ace took out his knife and killed the two men.

Ace ran back to Courtney. "Courtney I know what happened, I'm sorry this happened to you." "Ace it's okay, I'm fine. Are they dead?" "Yes they are!" "Good now Ace I know about your past, and I won't bring it up I promise." "Courtney I know your past too, it seems like we are connected some how. And the demon in me, I can see monsters that follow people if I'm out at night. That's why I like to stand guard, make sure none of them will hurt you guys." "Thank you Ace!" Courtney said giving him a kiss and passing out in his arms.

Courtney awoke to a knock on her door. "Hello?" Ace walked in. "Hi, I brought you some water and food. Thought you might be hungry." Courtney looked at him with scared eyes. "Courtney what's wrong?" "Are you going to hurt me too?" she asked with a shaky voice. "No, now why would you think that? Courtney I'm always going to be here for you." "But those men, I knew them. They used to be some of my closes friends. And they abused me." Courtney said looking away. Ace lifted her chin so there eyes would meet. "Don't worry about it, you can trust me and Chris and the girls to. We are here for you." Ace said kissing her on the forehead. "Thank you Ace."

"So Tara is dead, and those men are dead too. Who would have killed Tara?" Bandit asked. "Apparently someone who is on our side in this." Chris said. "We'll we couldn't be too sure on that, he or she could be after us as well." Sara said. "We will have to get more clues, I doubt Mikey would let us in... ever so maybe just see if anyone looks suspicious or not." Chris said. "We'll I here'd that they're has been massive murders of young girls around. We could send one of the girls in." Ace said. "No! not me!" Sara said. "Bandit or Courtney who is more attractive Ace?" Ace's face turned red as he looked away. "Yeah Ace me or Courtney." Bandit said getting closer. "I am your sister but I know you love her." "Um Bandit you can do it!" Ace said. "Fine, but I want a partner, Courtney come on!" "um okay." The two girls walked out the door to a old alley way.

They stood on the side of a building. Bandit was smoking and Courtney acted like she was waiting for someone. "You too girls lost?" a man said stepping out of the shadows. "No, I'm just waiting for my brother to come get us." Courtney said (she was acting). "Oh ok we'll it looks like it will rain come with me." The two girls followed him into a old warehouse. "Just have a seat and I'll tell you when I see him." "Thank you!" Bandit said. "

"Okay Courtney go see what you can fine, I'll look over here!" Bandit said.

"Okay be careful. wait Bandit, I I can't do this." Courtney said looking ashamed. "Hey you can I won't let anything happen to you."

"Where do you think you're going?" The man asked Courtney. "I'm just looking around." "We'll then I'll walk with you!" a evil smile came on his face. And "boom" Courtney was hit by something hard. She awoke tied to a chair. He arms and legs where tied to the chair and she had a piece of fabrics in her mouth. She opened her eyes slightly to see Bandit next to her. Bandit was wake and was staring down the man. "You listen here bub let me and her go or else!" "Or else what?" "Or else I'll kill you!" "You'll kill me? haha good luck you'll be dead soon anyways. you can just call me Killer." He said smiling at Bandit then smacking her. "Hey leave her alone!" Courtney said as she got the fabric off. "Haha not you two, you were much prettier when you were quite." Killer said creasing her face. Courtney had fear in her eyes and Bandit knew it to. Courtney had lost almost all of her confidence after the battles with Mikey. "Courtney it's okay just stay strong!" Bandit said. "Let's see here a knife or a gun?" Killer said the himself looking down. He walked over to Bandit and held the gun to her head. "Any last words?" "Bandit no! don't kill her!" Courtney screamed. "Shut up!" Killer said firing the gun at Courtney and getting the bullet into her shoulder. If was enough to knock the chair over. He put the fabric right back in her mouth to keep her quite.

"Now miss Bandit, I already know your past. I want your help with something. How did your parents do it!" killer said. "I'm not telling you, and if you kill me you'll never know!" Bandit said smirking. "Damn you! At least you can watch your friend suffer until you tell me!" "You'll still never know! It's my family secret and I'll never tell you!" Bandit said breaking out of the ropes. "Now you will die killer!" "Still that demonish spirit you have child! I love it." Bandit grabbed the knife, but she was then surrounded by three other men. All who looked un-human.
