Chapter XXIII: Killer

"Bandit? you here?" Ace called out as he walking into the old building where Bandit was. He walked through the broken glass window and say the knife Bandit has, was bent. "Oh no this can't be good!" He picked up the knife and put it in his pocket. Ace could here footsteps coming towards him. He quickly threw a knife and it hit the glass breaking it more. He looked down to see Courtney. "What the hell are you doing trying to kill me?!" she said walking towards him. "Sorry I thought you were someone else." "Ace why did she do it. She knows we could have stooped them." "They're not human it would be hard." "But we could have tried to!" "Courtney they almost killed you! with one shot to. They just want to know how out parents did it and then everything will be okay, I hope." Ace said walking out. "How did your parents do it?" Ace stopped in his tracks. "You said you didn't care about this and now you want to know?" He said getting real close to her. "Whoa dude to close for comfort." She said pushing him back. "You're not Courtney, Courtney loves it when I get close. Who are you really?" Courtney turned into Killer. "Your a smart man Ace. But we just want to know how your parents did it, Bandit is not cooperating very we'll."

"I'll never tell you!" Ace said getting his fist ready. "You Baka your just like your sister. At least you have nothing to go back to." Killer said walking off. "Oh no!" Ace ran back to camp to see everything destroyed. Smoke everywhere and fires still burning. "No! The only people besides Bandit I've ever cared about!" Ace said going to his knees. "Ace!" Courtney ran up to him and hugged him. "Are you a ghost?" he mumbled. "Did you hit your head or something? you seem a little out of it." She said. "No I'm fine I thought you all were dead cause if the fire." "Ace were all fine we saw then coming and ran before anything happened." "Your a smart one Courtney!" he said smiling.

"Chris went back home and Sara went to Stampdown. We all separated to keep each other safe." "Where are you suppose to be right now then?" "In the fire place." She said looking away. "The fire place that's a three days journey away!" "I know but I had to make sure you were alright." Ace kissed he slightly on the forehead. "Get back there I can't let you get hurt being here, understand me?" "Ya good luck!" she said running off.

"What am I going to do with her!" Ace said to himself walking off trying kt find Bandit or Killer. He walked down the small narrow path in the woods. It was late at night and the birds were flying, and it was raining. Ace stood there with a grumpy cat facial expression. "I really hate rain." He said as he kept walking.

"Bandit tell us you damn bitch!" Killer said as he smacked Bandit across the face. She started bleeding he hit so hard. "Never!" Two of the men hand cuffed her to a chair. And the third guy took her power with a needle just like Mikey. "No!" she yelled. "Your helpless now girl. What are you going to do?" Killer said in a baby voice. "She isn't going to do anything, I am!" Bandit knew that deep handsome voice had to be her brother Ace. He had come just like she hoped. "Ace!" "Oh Ace is it. I don't like you very much, but if you tell me how your parents did it I'll like you." "Like I said I don't know!" Ace punched killer in the jaw sending some of his teeth flying.

"Ace you shouldn't have done that. Now you will pay!" Killer said lunging at Ace shackling him to the ground. They were punching and kicking and using there powers. Both were equally matched. Bandit was able to take two of the other guys, but she couldn't find the third. "Ah!" The third guy came in holding a knife to Courtney's neck. "Courtney I told you to leave!" Ace yelled throwing killer off of him. "I did but this ass caught me!" "that's it Ace and Bandit you won't tell me we'll then say goodbye to her." Killer took the knife and shoved it right in Courtney's skull. She fell to the ground.... Dead.
