It's been a year since Ace left. I never stopped thinking of that night when I yelled at him for killing his parents. I didn't think he would ever forgive me. He's been away on the sea serving for the Navy. I've missed him yet I doubt he would want to see me. My 19th birthday is today and Sara, Bandit, and I are going for a nice dinner. Sara still rights to Chris everyday. He seems to be doing fine other than getting sea sick. He was suppose to be here yesterday but his ship was delayed. He's coming just in time for my birthday.
We waited at the dock for Chris's ship. Sara was jumping for joy as we saw the first puff of steam. The ship approached the dock. Very strong handsome men got off. They all looked happy to see there families. Then Chris walked off. Sara ran to him and never let go. He kissed her and hugged her tight. He walked over to Bandit and I. "Hi Chris." We said. "Courtney! Bandit!" Chris swiped us up into a big bear hug. "I missed all of you!" "Is Ace here?" Bandit asked. "He wasn't on our ship he must be on the other one right behind us." "Bandit we are heading for dinner you sure you wanna stay here?" I asked. "Yes I want to see Ace." "Okay."
We walked into my favorite restaurant Outback SteakHouse. I love steak a lot. We walked in to find Ace sitting at one of the tables in a suit and tie and Bandit standing next to him. My mouth dropped to the floor. "A-Ace?" I said kinda jittery since last time I saw him I screamed at him. "Hi Courtney happy birthday!" My head was screaming I thought maybe this was a trick, how could he just forgive like that?
-------------------Ace's POV---------------
She stared at me for awhile. I probably caught her off guard coming here. When I was away I learned one thing. If you love something or someone never let it go. I truly did love her and I couldn't let a fight keep us apart. After Chris, Sara, and her left Bandit rushed over here. I was already here waiting for her. I just hopped she had forgave me for walking out like that.
--------------Third Person-----------------
"Ace your back!" Courtney yelled jumping into his arms. "I missed you." "I missed you too Ace." While Ace and Courtney were hugging Chris turned to Sara. "Sara I had a question to ask you." "What is it?" Chris got down on one knee. "Sara Elizabeth Lean will you marry me?" Chris said pulling out a stunning diamond ring. Sara was in tears. "Yes I will marry you!" everyone cheered as they kissed. "We'll I'm hungry let's get food!" Chris said picking up the menu. everyone ordered and had a amazing time seeing each other again.
---------------Courtney's POV-------------
Dinner was a amazing night. Probably the best birthday I've ever had. Chris and Sara getting married soon and seeing Ace. I'm so happy we forgave each other. "Courtney could I talk to you outside?" he asked. "Of course." we walked outside and sat down on a bench. It looked over the ocean. "While I was away I learned one thing. If you love something or someone never let it go. I couldn't let you go." I could tell my heart was doing flips. "I don't know what to say other than I love you too." We kissed for the first time in a year. I could tell that our troubles and villains our gone and new happy endings our coming.
