(Y/N) shifted and hid behind a podium when she saw her father coming her way. She curled into a ball and hoped he wouldn't see her. When he left the room, she ran towards the hoard. The room smelled of smoke and the hoard was void if all signs of life. The creature was gone but the room smelled of dwarf. (Y/N) sneakily followed the trail her father went.
She came to a room that was filled with bridges. (Y/N) shifted and held onto the wall. While observing the scene. There were a group of dwarves along with the creature who were apparently trying to confuse Smaug by calling him in multiple directions.
'Behind you!'
"Hey you! Over Here!'
(Y/N) exhaled. The dwarves and unknown creature ran towards the forges and Smaug followed.
'The plans not going to work. These furnaces are stone cold'
'He's right. With no fire to light them ablaze'
'Have we not?'
(Y/N) listened closely.
'I did not look to see you so easily outwitted. You have grown slow, and fat in your dotage. Slug'
(Y/N) shielded her eyes as a gush of bright fire escaped from Smaug's mouth. The conveyer belt moved and solid gold began to liquefy once again.
'Bilbo! On my mark, pull that lever'
The creature, who's name was now obviously 'Bilbo' climbed up the rock towards a large lever. Smaug rammed himself through the gate. (Y/N) watched as the large containers of liquid gold emptied and a river of the precious metal was formed. After Smaug's eyes landed on the dwarf leader, he shouted 'NOW!'
Bilbo pulled the lever and a gush of water came out of the mouths of stone carvings from the walls. (Y/N) watched in shock when Smaug hit his head on rock and his fire was extinguished. He roared and hid behind the giant containers.
The dwarf leader took a wheeled device and rode it through a burrow on the liquid gold.
'Keep going Bilbo!'
He cried. Bilbo ran and Smaug followed. (Y/N) snuck away and ran as fast as she could. When she made it to the next room, she placed her hands on her knees and listened to the conversation that Smaug and Bilbo were having.
'You think you can deceive me, barrel rider? You have come from Lake-town'
Bilbo lifted the large scroll that had fallen from the wall when Smaug crashed through.
'This is some sort of scheme match between these filthy dwarves and those and those miserable tub-trading Lakemen. Those sniveling cowards with their long bows and black arrows. Perhaps it is time I paid them a visit'
Smaug lifted his paw and began to leave the room before Bilbo stopped him.
'Oh, no. This isn't their fault! Wait! You cannot go to Lake-town!'
'You care about them do you? Good. Then you can watch them die'
Before Smaug could leave the room the dwarf leader stopped him. (Y/N) watched in silence as the dwarf stood atop a mold.
'This is not your kingdom. These are Dwarf lands. This is Dwarf gold. And we will have our revenge'
The dwarf leader shouted something in Khuzdul before pulling chains off of the mold. Stones fell off before a gold stature was revealed. (Y/N) guessed that it was one of the previous Erebor leaders. (Y/N) stared at the statue. It was beautiful and shiny. Her trance was broken when the statue began to melt. She took notice of the situation.
Liquid gold engulfed her father until he was completely covered. The dwarves actually seemed proud of themselves until Smaug erupted from the golden pool.
'Revenge?! Revenge?! I will show you revenge!'
Smaug burst through the side of the mountain. He took off into the sky and shook off his gold coating before falling and heading towards Lake-town. (Y/N) ran towards the intruders and watched along with them as her father headed to do more destruction.
