I took a deep breath, knocking on the Hokage's door. I was still on an excitement high from when I made all the girls except young Hinata speechless, and the fact that I passed the test and, as it seems, wouldn't have to repeat for Naruto's sake.

"Come in!" The Hokage called from inside, and I walked in.

"You wished to see me, sir?"

"Oh, Kyo!" The Hokage instantly brightened, standing and walking over before wrapping me in a hug, which I returned. See, Third Hokage took me in after the death of my clan, and became a father figure to me. He had also taught me everything I knew, teaching me and privately giving me all the exams except for the chunin exam. He had also put a seal on me to keep Malik's power/chakra level at a point the both of us were able to withstand.

Yes, he gave me special treatment, but he insisted that it was for the best, instead of waiting like everyone else to do things the proper way. He said that as long as I went through the rankings properly, then I was fine. Besides, only a few Jonin knew the truth, litterally everyone else thought I was a chunin or a genin, depending on if they were a Jonin or the village people.

"I was hoping to talk to you about Malik. I hope you know Mali Kent out last night?"

I nodded, and Hokage hummed, his lips twitching up a little in a smile.

"Good. Anyway, to the main thing."

"Malik wasn't the main thing?"

"Oh, no." The Hokage chuckled, leading me over to his desk. "The main reason I called you here was that I thought it was about time I talk to you about the seal I placed on you so many years ago meant to control Malik's and your power."

"The black circle with many symbols in it, right?" At Hokage's nod, my eyebrows furrowed as I became confused. "I thought that was just for Malik."

"Yes, that is what I told you." Hokage said softly, clasping his hands behind his back. "But it also seals powers that tour parents... Gave you." I flinched at the mention of my parents, and Hokage smiled sadly. "They really thought of everything, as much as I hate to admit it. They increased your chakra amount exponentially as well as gave you the ability to master all types.... That's nearly unheard of. But it was too much for you as a six year old, and I imagine some of it still is. You're still a child, after all."

"What's your point?" I asked softly, all excitement left in me draining at the mention of my parents.

"Have you looked at the seal lately?"

"No...?" I said questioningly, not sure where this was going. "Why?"

"Check."

I did as told, lifting my shirts just enough to see the edge of the seal on the bottom of my ribcage. My eyes widened when I saw the seal, because instead of being ink black, it was a light grey. "Why is it gray?!" I asked, quickly yanking my shirt down and looking at Hokage with wide eyes.

"I'm afraid the seal is weakening." Hokage said softly, "If it disappears, you two will lose all control over your chakra. It'll go haywire."

I stared at Hokage for a few moments, shocked into silence. "Th.... That's not good."

"No, it's not. Thankfully, the seal can easily be replaced. I'll teach your team's teacher how to do it- but the reason I hesitate at all is because it is not pleasant for you to feel." The Hokage frowned, looking worried as he spoke. "It will hurt. Badly. You'll most likely pass out from the pain."

I gulped at his words, suddenly nervous. Pain and I never got along. I nodded, though, taking a deep breath. "Okay...." I took another deep breath, closing my eyes for a moment. "Okay, right. Got it." I smiled at the Hokage, who smiled back.
