Hey guys!! Super long time no talk, right?

Sorry for the complete disappearance! Kyo and Malik aren't exactly my best OCs, so whenever something new came up I'd just get completely sucked into that and forget about this ^^'. Also this past year has basically been hell on earth for me so that's fun. If you're still waiting on this story, I seriously can't help but thank you enough. I wish I could give you something better than an A/N.

BUT HANG ON: this isn't a notice saying I'm dropping this fic, or that I'm abandoning it or anything like that. 

Honestly, each time I look at this plot, I just... get tired. I think the way I executed it ended up being really bad, because even after 2 years I still really like the idea of Kyosuke and Malik being merged and strong enough to be a jonin at 13, but I'm not a huge fan of how I did it and I was sticking perhaps a little too close to the OG plot 2014 me had come up with. Not to mention I had a ton of ideas that don't sit well with me anymore or I totally forgot how I was going to get there since I was terrible at writing these things out when I thought of them.

So what I'm going to do is this: rewrite Left to Fall. Again. Completely revamp it: Kyo, Malik, Tai, and Kasumi will get new designs, the story will be written in 3rd person which will allow me to have more fun and bring in more visuals, and hopefully I can find a way to keep their powers and abilities without going the "child experimentation" route. 

It's going to take a while to come out, though, because I have 3 other major projects that I want to finish first (they're all in their 40s or higher, I've gone too far to give up now) and hopefully I'll get one or two jobs that get me out of the house and into a better writing mindset even if they take away more time soon.

I won't be unpublishing the current chapters, in case anyone wants to read it still, but once I get a good head start in my draft I'll start updating the chapters as I go. When that happens, I'll place [OLD] after the chapters that haven't been rewritten.

Until then, I'll give you guys updates! Character designs, maybe a Q&A type thing where you guys can ask questions about the characters (I won't answer any plot related questions, especially since I don't know what I'll be keeping from past ideas and what will be all new). 

I'm sorry I'm always changing this story! I really want to give you guys a completed product, but this story just doesn't get along with me xD
