Auroras pov

I've been in the slammer for maybe a couple hours and I already hate it. I have no one to talk to, no where to run, no where to hide. I'm constantly being monitored, I have no privacy, cause I'm in jail. I'm in stinking jail, I never thought I would ever end up here. To be honest when I told Dally I would take the heat I didn't even think I had the guts to actually do it. But I did, I did it for Soda, and Pony and Darry and all the guys. I could've pushed through the pain and ran but I acted like it hurt to bad, don't get me wrong it hurt, but I coulda ran. Eventually we woulda got tired and we woulda all had been locked up, I had to do it. I just had to do it.

It was about time for dinner cause my stomach totally felt it and I heard and all familiar voice.

"Haha sucker!" I heard Dally yell.

He ran down in front of my cell and gave me his signature reckless grin.

"What are you doing here?" I asked.

"There was more than just the guys who got you,"

"They didn't get anyone else right?" I said careful not to mention any names.

"Nah, just me and Steve. Evie's ticked!"

"Good, how are you over here?"

"I got away from old pinhead somewhere down there." he pointed down the hall he came from.

"You know how long we're gonna be here?"

"A couple more nights unless someone bails us out," his expression dimmed after he said the word bails.

"Ugh,"

"This is nothing, I've been locked up for 3 months before. That's when you have the right to say ugh."

"I can't even imagine," I plopped down on my "bed" which is actually just a cement slab with a thin mattress on top.

"We'll looks like I gotta go, I'll see ya when we get out," he waved as the police officer handcuffed him and lead him farther down the hallway.

A tear trickled down my face and fell onto my pants. This was terrible, I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. Not being able to leave, and not to mention that you're stuck in a tiny little room maybe 12 feet by like 10. Lets just say it ain't fun.

"Get up, and if you try anything funny you'll be in here a whole lot longer than ya want."

The police officer unlocked the door, handcuffed me, and lead me to the "cafeteria" it's not a real cafeteria just a room with food.

I walked into the cafeteria got my Mac and cheese and sat down. This Mac and cheese tastes like crap but it's the only thing I got so I gotta make it work. The officer unhand-cuffed me for the time being but there was a bunch of 'em everywhere so it was hopeless to get out. Steve and Dally were in different ends of the room but I could see they weren't to happy, I tried to get their attention but they weren't paying attention.

I got pulled back to my cell and got unhand-cuffed again. I laid down on my cement slab with a poor excuse for a mattress and looked up at the ceiling. The tears came again, I couldn't do this, not for days, I would go insane. I get let out for meals but it still doesn't make the fact that you are detained any better.

I sat there for a while just thinking then sleep overcame me.
