Chapter 6- Just in Time

Auroras pov

I woke up with a startle and I realized that I was still laying on Sodas chest. I looked at the clock and it read 6:55 crap Soda needs to leave right now.

"Soda wake up now," I shook him rapidly and he didn't move.

I tried smacking him, kicking him, shaking him again and nothing worked. Then it popped in my head a kiss, I kissed him passionately on the lips and he woke up instantly.

"That was a nice good morning,"

"Yep now get outa here my parents will be here any minute to check on me,"

"Oh crap," he grabbed his container with the leftover food and head for the window. I heard footsteps down the hall and I motioned for him to speed up. He was out the window right when my parents walked in.

"You almost ready to go honey?" my mom asked sweetly.

"Yep, in like 20 I'll be ready."

"Ok see ya then,"

Now you see my mom likes to be miss happy daisy butterfly when I'm grounded for whatever reason and irritates the crap outa me. Also they insist that every morning I go to breakfast with them just us three not Tori, Jake, or Katey lucky dogs. It's so boring, they just sit there and talk about boring old people crap. Like politics and economy.

I finished my hair up then lazily walked down stairs.

"You ready to go honey?" my mom asked in her most annoying happy daisy tone ever.

I nodded and we headed for the car.

After Breakfast

Oh that was terrible, my parents were especially boring today.

I walked through the door and Katey immediately ran to me and wrapped her body around my leg.

"Hey sweetheart how ya doing?" I asked looking down at her.

She looked up and she had a big pink slap mark on her cheek. I picked her up and she laid her head down in the crook of my neck. I walked to Tori's room and Jake and her were both sitting there. When Jake saw me he tensed up and Tori just glared.

"Who did this to her?" I asked knowing full well they would know exactly what I was talking about.

"That's none of your business you're grounded," Tori said with a snarl.

"I don't give a crap, who did this to her," I demanded.

"Don't get mad at Tori it was me," Jake said still tense as can be.

"I don't believe you Jake I know she put you up to this now why'd you do it Tori?" I demanded yet again now fuming.

"Cause she's a little brat, I can't stand that annoying thing," she said disgustedly.

I felt hot tears fall on my shoulders and now she hurt Katey even more. I set Katey down and pointed to her room.

"I'll be there in a second,"

She nodded and ran like her life depended on it.

"Ok, Tori you need to stop. You're breaking this little girls heart," I said trying to get to her heart for her to understand.

"I don't give a crap," she said mocking my voice. "you didn't care about me so why should I care about you brats,"

"Cause were family and we do care about you and we should care about each other,"
