Chapter 17-Mending The Broken Pieces

Auroras pov

Right now I'm sitting in my room, on my bed. It's been I don't know a week since Katey passed and I can't take it. I can't even walk past her room without tears a flowing.

"Honey can I talk to you?" My mom asked sweetly.

"Whatever," I replied

She walked in and sat down on the bed.

"I have two pieces of news to share with you, do you want the news that will make you mad first or the maybe happy news?"

"Mad,"

"I dot know how to say this, but I kinds bribed Soda so he would make you happy again. I told him everything he would need to know about you guys and said I would pay him if he made you happy." she looked at me sheepishly obviously scared.

"Are you serious?" I asked getting real ticked, real fast.

"I'm so sorry I don't know what got in to me,"

"I can't believe you, you know the reason why we aren't together is all because of you,"

"You don't know that," she said still looking scared.

"Yea, I do. What's the maybe good news so you can get out of here,"

"You're going to the same high school as Pony, Johnny, and Twobit on Thursday."

"What?" I asked now even more ticked than I was before I guess you could say now I was livid.

"I thought you would be happy about that,"

"Going to school with the gang yes, but going to school at all ugh, and I'll probably only have classes with Two-bit."

"Well that's it, you start tomorrow just so you know."

"Ugh," I turned to face the wall and just glared at it.

It's weird when you're mad it's like the wall is the pit of all your problems. Like that stupid wall is just everything all wrapped up.

I was so stupid and gullible at tha time cause I didn't enjoy the time I had at home cause my problems were about to explode and get MUCH worse.

Sodas pov

I wanna date Aurora cause she's a nice girl but I kinda ruined it for myself. I could take her on a nice date, no stupid. I could get her flowers, no to cliché. I could write her a song. That's it I could write her a song, no help from anyone just me. Only where do I start, I haven't really dated her so what do I wrote about. This is gonna be a fun night.

Auroras pov

Ugh I have to go back to high school, and just to make it even more perfect it's January. Far into the school year, people already have friends and I'm walking in the 5 month of the year, yea.

I took a quick shower, blow dried my hair, curled it then applied some light makeup. As for the outfit I'm gonna wear my trusty leather jacket and white shirt under it with some ripped jeans. For shoes I just threw on my combat boots. After I was completely finished I grabbed my bag and headed down stairs.

"Oh my babies you look so adorable," my mom squealed.

I just rolled my eyes and walked out, the guys are meeting me at the park and I don't wanna be late. Also I really don't need to be in that house any longer than I have to.

Once I got to the park Johnny, Pony, and Two-bit were already there.

"Hey guys," I tried to say with a believable smile.

"Hey," they all returned at different times.

"So how ya feeling Ror?" Two-bit asked setting an arm around me.

"Ok I guess," I lied.

"That's good, ya wanna know sketching crazy. I was kissing this chick and she pushed me against a wall and apparently we were tipping to the side and so far that I fell into a trash can. It was so funny everyone was laughing at me, but heck I was laughing at myself."

"Two-bit you know you're crazy sometimes,"

"Only when I'm not sober honey, only when I'm not sober."

"You can't go to school drunk,"

"Have been already they don't do nothing, this school don't care if ya get knocked up on the table all they care bout is the grades."

"Thanks for that image,"

"Someone actually did that in Kiminskis and she didn't say nothing,"

"Wow,"

"Yea so don't get in fights cause they won't do nothing bout it of someone pulls a switch on ya,"

"Ok,"

After a few more tips and tricks we arrived at the school and it was obvious to see who was who. The greasers to the left and socs to the right, no question. There was none mixed together they were completely separated.

"What's that trash doing here?" a blonde soc asked looking at us disgustedly.

"I don't think you should be talking," I remarked glaring at the girl.

"Excuse me?"

"Oh I didn't say anything I was just gonna go now," I said turning to leave.

"You're gonna pay for that grease," she said in a snotty nasally super annoying voice.

"I think you already did what are those double d's?" I turned back to face her and the face said it all.

"At least I have boobs not little anthills,"

"Honey everyone knows those cannonballs aren't real, so just stop trying."

"Ugh," she stomped her feet, turned around and stomped off.

"Wow, that was a sight." Two-bit said happily.

"I'm not gonna let mess with me,"

"No you're not," Johnny piped up.

"And any of you guys need somebody to be told there right place just let me know,"

We walked in the school and then it all sank in that girl, was the head of the school. I'm screwed.
