Chapter 19- Oh Crap!

Auroras pov

I was sitting in my third period English class with Two-bit when the office called me down.

"We don't tolerate fighting,"

"I don't care, just suspend me, expel me. I don't care just do it already."

"What's wrong?" the principal asked as if she cared.

"Nothing,"

"Come on Aurora there's got to be something bothering you."

"My life's messed up ok,"

"Sit down tell me what's wrong,"

"I've had the best and the worst night of my life, I fell in love with the best guy ever but he doesn't remember me and my sister, she's gone." Tears welled up in my eyes and I turned around.

"I'm sorry sweetheart but taking it out on my student body won't help,"

"Whatever," I left her office and walked down the hallway back to my class.

No one understands, or knows what it's like. Especially not some rich soc principal they got no problems, no problems money cant fix that is.

"Hey what'd ya get busted for?" Two-bit asked when I strolled on in.

"Hitting that blonde bimbo,"

"Oh, that's nothing one time they found my switch man they weren't to happy bought that but eh,"

"Yea, I'd rather be expelled so I don't have to come."

"Hey kid, ya gotta know that sometime ya gotta buck up and let it go. See we all have problems like look over their that girl, she's got an ugly problem, that girl ya slapped she's got implants the size of grapefruits, and that guy over there his parents threw him out and he's living on the streets. You're not the only one in the world with problems."

That shut me right up, Two-bits never said anything like that, ever.

"Aurora and Justin," my teacher said in her monotone annoying voice.

"What?" I asked totally confused.

"You're paired with Justin for the project," she said as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.

"This is gonna be fun," Justin said happily then winked at me with a smile.

You've got to be kidding me, this is gonna be complete torture.

"Ok guys sit with your partners and I will explain the rubric,"

I got up reluctantly and sat down next to Justin.

"Well hi there baby doll," he said giving me a cocky grin while he looked me up and down.

"Hi,"

"So you will have to right a persuasive essay on a topic your partner chooses, this is how it will work; your partner chooses a topic you write it and they help you by editing and revising giving tips and pointers. Also to ensure that you are working together you must provide what your partner did when we go through the steps of writing."

Oh wonderful, this guy is as dumb as a doorknob and about as annoying as one that won't open.

"You excited for out little project baby doll?" Justin asked obviously seeing that I wasn't happy at all.

"No I'm just excited for it to be over,"

"Ouch, come on I'm not that bad."

"Yea you wouldn't be with a paper bag over your head."

"Ooh, girl you're mean today huh?"

"Yep, get use to it." I patted him on the back then began to copy down what the teacher had written on the board.

"Oh I will," he gave me a wink then did the same and started copying down the notes.

Sodas pov

I've been racking my mind with ideas of what to do for Aurora and I just can't think of anything. There's so many cheesy things to do but this, this is important. It has to be something amazing. Something that 'ell being her to tears. I have her face planned out of when I do whatever it is I'm gonna do, only problem, I have no idea what to do.

"Steve, what should I do?" I asked indecisive.

"I don't know that's for you to figure out,"

"Oh wow you're SO much help,"

"I'm not gonna give ya an idea you have to come up with one yourself,"

"Whatever," I said acting mad while walking back out to the cash register.

"Hey," a perky blonde girl blessed up top said.

"Hi," I answered laughing at her perkiness.

"So, do you have a girlfriend?"

"Uhh......yea, technically yea,"

"Well maybe you could dump her," she came so close to me our lips almost touched.

"No, I love her." I backed up so far I was practically sitting on the back counter.

"To bad," she walked away shaking her butt like a crazy person.

"Yep,"

She left and after that buisness was booming. Steve fixed up at least 6 cars and I pumped so much gas my hands are covered in it.

"You ready to go Sodapop?" Steve asked coming back from the garage.

"Yea," I got out the closed sign, hung it up then we left, Steve closing the door behind.

We started walking towards my house just having a little small talk. Once we reached my house everyone was there except Aurora, when she's not here its just different. I really am glad that I remember her and my love for her now, now I know why the gangs so much different. We're all different without her. That's why I HAVE to get her back.
