Chapter 16- Betrayal

Auroras pov

"Mam you're Aurora, Katey's sister right?" A nurse asked frantic.

"Yea why?" I wiped my eyes and stood up.

"She, ugh. Just come with me," she grabbed my arm and pulled me along.

"Ok?" I said multiple ideas running through my mind.

When we got to the room my mom was in the corner of the room hunched down in a ball and doctors were all crowded around Katey.

"What's going on?" I demanded.

"Back up mam," the doctor ordered.

As if that crap was gonna stop me, I looked over top doctors and tried to squeeze in any where I could. Once I found a spot I really truly wished I hadn't. Katey was so pail, and honestly she didn't even look like she was breathing.

"Ok on 3," the doctor got one of those shocks thingies that are supposed to being you back to life and set them on her chest. Her body shook up and down then laid lifeless down on the bed.

"What's happening?" I asked.

The nurse took me and my mom out of the room and led us down to the waiting room.

"Wait no what are you doing I have to see her, I have to make sure she's ok," I thrashed out of her grip and ran down the hallway.

A male nurse stopped me and I thralled my arms everywhere.

"Mam please, they're trying to help her."

"Let me go!" I screamed trying to wiggle out of his grip. "Why can't I see her!"

I tried maneuvering my arm, thrashing everywhere nothing was working.

"Let me see her!" I yelled no getting more irritated.

"She's dying you don't wanna see that do you?!?!" the guy yelled making me fall down to the ground, my legs not able to support the weight. He let go of me now realizing what he had just said and done.

"I'm sorry, come on let's go sit down." he said attempting to have a soothing voice.

I got up and pulled out of his grip and ran for Katey's room. He let me go, knowing full well he just crushed my whole world. When I got to her room I looked inside and the doctors had left and Katey was laying on the bed confused and so so weak. I busted through the door and when she saw me she gave a weak smile.

"Hi sissy," I said tears welling up in my eyes already.

"Sissy I'm not gonna get to see New York," she said so small and weak I could barely here.

"I'm so sorry, sweetie. I'm so sorry,"

"I love you," she smiled again

"I lo.....ve.......you....to....swe.....tttiee." I barely got out through the sobs.

"Tell Dally that it 'ell be ok," she said then her face went cold and she fell into an internal sleep. One she would not come out of. At least she was going to a better place, a place with no suffering, no pain and eternal happiness.

"No, please, no." I grabbed her hand and it was lifeless, cold.

"I.......I.......I....wi.....ll" I got out through the sobs.

She doesn't deserve it, she's just a kid. I would trade places in a second. I fell to the floor in a flat out sob and I couldn't move. I couldn't get up, I had no will to go on. I lost Soda now Katey my life was really screwed up. I couldn't take it I laid on that cold floor sobbing my eyes out and probably looking like a total idiot. But I don't give a crap my sister just died Soda doesn't want to see me anymore I got nothing left.

"Honey come on," my mom said setting a hand on my shoulder.

"Leave me alone,"

"Honey we need to leave," my mom said on the verge of tears.

"Mom Soda won't talk to me, Katey's......dead. I don't need to go anywhere," my voice cracked when u said the word dead.

My mom grabbed my arm and pulled me up.

"You're gonna man up and deal with it," she said sternly and quite honestly rude.

"Really?" I jerked out of her grip and ran down the hallway.

Sodas pov

"Soda what's going on?" Pony demanded.

"What do you mean?"

"Well one second you're trying to remember her and the best you're pushing her farther away."

"I don't wanna talk about it,"

"Well that's just to bad cause you're gonna tell me what's going on, right now."

"Fine, her mom bribed me with money and she told me all about the relationship we had and if I got her happy again I would get the money,"

"Are you kidding me?"

"No Pony and I felt so bad seeing her get excited when all I was doing was lying,"

"You don't see it do you?"

"See what?" I asked real confused.

"See that she loves you, a lot. and she wouldn't give a crap if you didn't remember a thing. You're all she has left now. Katey, her little sister just died, her dad left and her moms lost. You were all she had left and you just brought her in made her happy then chewed that all up and spit it out! Do you not see that?"

"I do Pony and I feel terrible, she's pretty and funny I can see why I liked her but I can't remember anything about her,"

"Just ask her if you can start over ya know, just act like you've never met and do it again."

"Yea maybe,"
