Chapter 29- Shocked!

Auroras pov

I woke up and Soda had is and wrapped around me and a smile on his face. I shimmied across the bed and got up tiptoeing to the door, I creaked it open slightly and tiptoed to the bathroom. I looked in the mirror and I gotta admit I looked terrible. My hair was up in a ugly messy bun and my makeup was smudged all over. And worst of all my face, I have a big mark going from my forehead across my eye and down to my chin, I looked so ugly. I have a bunch of cuts and bruises on my arms and my face. Let's just say I looked like I got attacked by a horse, that horse ran me through a chainsaw, and chewed me up then spit me back out. Its not a nice look.

After I fixed myself up and I looked somewhat better I walked outside and the gang was asleep in the living room. Everyone had bruises marked all over their body and looked so tired they were practically dead to the world. I walked into the kitchen and got 5 ice packs for the guys. I set them all next to each of their sleeping bags and walked back to the kitchen.

I got out the ingredients for chocolate cake and started making it.

After the cake was done baking almost everyone started waking up and demanding cake.

"Hey go Rori," Two-bit said excitedly.

"Rori?" I asked questioning another one of Two-bits nicknames for me.

"Yea Rori that's your new nickname, I like it Rori," Two-bit winked at me then stuffed his face with cake bit caring to use a fork.

"You're a slob,"

"You know it," he winked again and walked out into the living room with cake in his hand.

"Thanks for making this Aurora," Johnny said so sweetly, I've always admired how nice and sweet he was.

"Your welcome," Johnny actually got a plate unlike the rest of the pigs.

"Hey Aurora you make some good cake," Dally said in between bites.

"Thanks," I laughed a little.

After everybody got their cake I looked around for Soda and he wasn't anywhere to be found. I looked in all the rooms and he was no where.

"You looking for Soda?" pony asked

"Yea,"

"Try the backyard,"

I went to the back yard and Soda was sitting in a tree in a tux.

"What are you doing? I asked laughing.

"Why don't you come up here and see?"

I climbed up the tree and sat down next to him. He yawned and put his arm around me making me laugh and him smile. I looked at what he was doing and he was carving our initials into a tree. once he finished instead of putting a heart he circled it.

"Soda you know you're supposed to put a heart right,"

"Nope, a heart can be broken but a circle goes on forever just like you and me." he bopped me on the nose and I giggled.

"Wow Soda,"

"What?"

"That was somewhat cheesy but totally sweet,"

"Yea,"

He jumped down from the tree and held out his hand to help me down. I jumped down and brushed my pants off getting very distracted in the fact that bark was stuck on my yoga pants. I turned around

"Soda is there bark on my butt?" I asked.

Silence.

"Soda?" I turned around and my jaw dropped.

Soda was down on one knee holding out a silver ring with a big diamond in the middle and two smaller ones surrounding it, and on the rest of the ring little diamonds surrounded it. I stood there stunned.

"Aurora, I love you with all my heart. I never wanna spend a day apart from you. Since the day I met you at the dx I've known I loved you. You're my everything, you're my sunshine on a rainy day, the one who laughs at my stupid jokes, the one who's always there, and you're the one that I love. So Aurora will you marry me?" he smiled and looked up at my still shocked face and no words came out.
