I was sitting on the edge of my father's desk facing the door in my father's classroom. It was after dinner was over and I was waiting for him to go to his office since I was still in trouble for last year. My father was reading the Daily Prophet. Just then Filch walked in with Ron and Harry behind him.

"You were seen by no less than seven muggles," my dad said slamming the daily prophet down on his desk.

Today was the first day back at Hogwarts and Harry and Ron took a joy ride in a flying car. Now that I thought about it, I didn't remember seeing them on the train or even at dinner.

"Do you have any idea how serious this is? You have risked the exposure of our world. Not to mention the damage you inflicted on a whomping willow that's been on these grounds since before you were born" my dad said.

Filch found these two and brough them to my father.

"Planted on these grounds in 1971," I said.

"Yes thank you, Samantha," my father said.

"What is she doing here" Harry asked.

"Still paying for my punishments of last year," I said.

"Honestly, Professor Snape, I think it did more damage to us," Ron said going back to the reason why they were here.

"Silence! I assure you, that were you in Slytherin, and your fate rested with me, the both of you would be on the train home tonight. As it is..." my father started.

"They are not," Dumbledore said as he and McGonagall walked in.

"Professor Dumbledore. Professor McGonagall" Harry said.

"Headmaster, these boys have flouted the Decree for the restriction of underage wizardry. As such.." my father said.

"I am well aware of our bylaws, Severus, having written quite a few of them myself. However, as head of Gryffindor house, it is for Professor McGonagall to determine the appropriate action" Dumbledore said.

"We'll go and get our stuff, then," Ron said.

"What are you talking about, Mr. Weasley?" McGonagall asked.

"You're going to expel us, aren't you?" Ron asked.

"Not today, Mr. Weasley. But, I must impress on both of you the seriousness of what you have done. I will be writing to your families tonight, and you will both receive detention" McGonagall said.

They nodded and left the room.
