"Where do you think you're going Flint?" The Gryffindor captain asked.

"Quidditch practice," Flint said with a nasty smile.

"What? No, I booked the pitch for Gryffindor today" the Gryffindor captain said.

"Easy, their Wood. I've got a note" Flint said with a smirk handing Wood the note.

Just then Ron and Hermione walked over. I saw them through the other kids on the team.

"I, Professor Severus Snape, do hereby give the Slytherin team permission to practice today. To train their new chaser and Seeker" Wood read out loud.

"You've got a new Chaser and a new Seeker. Who?" Wood asked.

Draco and I stepped up with smiles on our faces.

"Malfoy? Snape?" Harry asked.

"That's right. And that's not all that's new this year" Draco said with a smirk.

"Those are Nimbus Two Thousand and Ones! How did you get those?" Ron asked.

"A gift from Draco's father," Flint said.

"You see Weasley, unlike some, my father can afford the best," Draco said with a smirk.

I honestly hate it when Draco rubs it in that his family is rich it doesn't make him better than them or anyone really.

"At least no one on the Gryffindor team had to buy their way in... or get in just because their dad is head of the house. They got on pure talent" Hermione said.

I gave her a dirty look.

"I got on this team because I'm good, it had nothing to do with my father being head of the house," I said.

"No one asked your opinion, you filthy little mudblood!" Draco yelled.

"Draco!" I scolded quietly from beside him.

"You'll pay for that one Malfoy. Eat Slugs!" Ron said pointing his broken wand at Draco.

The spell of course back fired and Ron started barfing up slugs. Everyone on the team but me started laughing. I rolled my eyes and shook my head.

Suddenly there was a flash of light and I saw a first-year Gryffindor standing there with a camera.

"Wow! Can you turn him around, Harry?" The boy asked.

"No, Colin get out of the way," Harry said as he and Hermione helped Ron up.

"Let's take him to Hagrid, he'll know what to do," Harry said as they walked past us. Harry shoulder-checked Draco on his way past. The Gryffindor team cleared out and we went to practice, which was very successful. I'd say we are definitely ready for the upcoming game.

After Dinner

I was heading back to my father's office after dinner with Draco and the other Slytherin students when we came across Harry, Ron, and Hermione looking up at Flich's cat. I looked over at the wall opposite wall.
