Adrian
"Adrian! Zion just came now. Did you see-"
I pushed past my mum and ran up the stairs, hoping she never noticed the tears. My heart was clenching in pain. How could he not believe me?! Me! His bestfriend since nappy days.
I ignored my mum calling me and ran into my room, slamming the door shut. I stripped down from my clothes and wore a fresh set of undergarments and threw on a random top and some dark grey jeans. I slipped my all black air max 90s on and opened my room door again to see Jake.
"Hey Jakey." I tried my best to smile though it probably visualised as a grimace.
He tugged on my hand until I was sitting on the bed with him. "Adrian, I saw what happened outside through the window. I'm sorry, I know you taught me that it's not good to spy but I couldn't help myself. I heard the yelling."
I couldn't help but chuckle at my five year old little brother. "It's cool buddy." I sniffed.
He grabbed my hand. "Zion is a dick."
I gasped causing him to giggle. "Sorry, it's true."
"Who taught you that?!" I yelled, horrified.
"I tried to flirt with some girl in school and she called me a dick." He chuckled. I scoffed, shaking my head. "Kids these days."
"Anyway, that doesn't matter. What matters is that Zion is a dick and you shouldn't play with him anymore." He mumbled, swinging his little legs off the bed.
"We don't play Jake." I chuckled at his cuteness.
"Adrian. What does rape mean?" I tensed, my whole body freezing. "Hey! Don't cry!" He wiped the tears off of my face causing me to burst out crying even more on his little shoulder.
"It's alright." He mumbled, wrapping his little arms around me. "Don't cry, I need to go to school and you need to go to college." He chuckled.
I nodded, pulling away from him. He wiped my face with his sleeve and I shot him a wobbly smile.
"He's going to be a true gentlemen." Zach suddenly walked into the room, smirking at the sight.
"Who let you in?" I asked, frowning.
"Your mum. Lovely woman, she even gave me some brownies." He smiled. "But I ate them." His smile turned into a pout.
I chuckled and quickly introduced Jake when he nudged me. "This is my little brother, Jake."
Jake scoffed at me. "How many times do I have to tell you? I'm not little!" He yelled, pouting.
"Well you're always little to me." I smirked, causing him to scoff again.
"Hey there buddy, nice trim." Zach spudded Jake, complimenting him on his haircut. It was a fade and a come over with a little lightning bolt design going across the side towards the fade. I chose the haircut when I took him to the barbers and let us just say... my mother was not delighted or amused at all.
"Thanks! Adrian picked it!" He smirked, giving me a light punch on the shoulder.
"Did she?" Zach smirked, walking up towards me. My eyes widened and I watched as he made a turn in the last second and dropped onto the bed on the other side of Jake.
"Jake, get your butt down here! I need to get you to school!" My mother yelled from downstairs. "Adrian! Get your butt down here and let your boyfriend take you to school!"
"Boyfriend?" I exclaimed, horrified.
He gazed at me in amusement. "I guess she thinks we're dating." He smirked, standing up.
