Zach
Adrian and I both made our way into the room the man directed us to and grabbed our things. I kitted myself up before helping Adrian with hers as she struggled with the straps. I then put her gun around her and smirked.
"Let's do this button."
We both walked back to the man and told him our gun number before strolling into room A and was immediately greeted with darkness. You could see the huge barriers where people hide behind and the two huge house thing in each side. Alex and I used to come here all the time so I memorised every hiding spot, off by heart.
"We're gonna kill them!" The same high pitched voice yelled. Adrian snickered from beside me. "We'll see about that." She muttered quietly.
"Alright! Everyone! There are eight sets of couples in this room so be careful and be wary of your surroundings. Other then that, make sure to enjoy yourself and... start!"
The top that I had on buzzed as well as everyone else's and I immediately grabbed Adrian and took her into hiding, remembering she was afraid of the dark. My button isn't leaving my sight.
"What are you doing?" She whispered.
"I'm hiding you."
She chuckled quietly causing me to frown. "What?"
"That's not how I play Zach. Everyone hides so the key is to just walk through and shoot as much as you can. The only reason I'm telling you is because you're my partner or else I don't tell anyone the secret. Watch this." She whispered, coming out of the hiding space and walking through the dark. I was so tempted to grab her and hide her again but I silently watched her play.
She strolled across the middle of the room, pulled her gun up and shot at everyone she could see, dodging at the same time. My jaw dropped at how well she played and how finesse she was. She was like the terminator. She wasn't even running, she was walking so casually. A man aimed right at her vest but before he could shoot, I shot him directly in the middle of his vest, causing his lights to go off and his gun to stop working for three seconds.
I decided to use Adrian's trick and walk out of my hiding spot. She was right about that. It was so much easier. While everyone was hiding and discreetly shooting people, you could see everything and shoot them before they get you.
So Adrian and I worked as a team and shot everyone, protecting each other at the same time. She probably helped me more than I helped her.
I pushed her onto one of the barriers and brought my lips close to her ear. "You truly are a pro button. I'm not messing with you." I purposely brushed my lips against her ear, causing her to shiver. Someone shot at my vest, causing my gun to go off and Adrian was quick to lift her gun up and get them back.
I smirked. "That's my button." I pulled away and grinned.
"Let's finish this off."

"Second place is..." The man trailed off glancing down at the paper. "Gun number fifteen and twenty five which means first place is gun number seven and nineteen." I grabbed Adrian and pulled her in for a hug.
"We won!" She yelled, jumping up and down, kissing my cheek. I smirked.
"Ugh! I can't believe we lost! This is your fault!" The high pitched voice girl blamed it on her husband/boyfriend.
I rolled my eyes and grinned at Adrian. "We won because of you." I winked.
"Seriously?! I was thinking we won because of you! You should've seen yourself out there!" She yelled.
