Zach

I pulled up outside Jeremy's house. Whenever we used to meet up, it would always be his or my house. I had messaged them earlier, telling them I was coming over. A few of them couldn't make it and only two of them could. We had a small group with the amount of seven people but it was tight. We all trusted each other with our lives. It had always been like that.

I was dressed in a plain black v neck and blue washed out jeans, paired up with a pair of air max reflectives. I pulled the key out of the ignition and turned everything off. I then, slipped my phone into my pocket and got out of my audi r8, closing the door and locking it behind me.

I walked up towards the door and before I could even knock, the door swung open and I was immediately greeted with Jeremy. Instead of fist bumping like normal people do, we hugged. "I fucking missed you bro! Fucking bastard, why haven't you called?!" Was his greeting.

I smirked, pulling away and grinning. "I've been around."

He smirked back. "Around huh?" He wiggled his eyebrows. I whacked him upside the head. "Move so I can get the fuck in." I immediately thought of my button. She would've flicked my forehead.

A small smile tugged its way onto my face at the thought of Adrian. Jeremy shot me a weirded out look to which I shook my head to.

He grinned, slapping my back and made his way to the living room with me following closely behind.

"Oi!" Thomas yelled, jumping up and walking towards me. "My man! Where you been bro?" He yelled, pulling me in for a chest bump. Yeah, that's our hug.

"Save me some huggies!" Luke smirked, wrapping an arm around my shoulder. I grinned, also whacking him upside the head. "Why haven't any of you lot called?"

"Cause someone lost your number. You only gave it to Luke and he lost his phone." Thomas shook his head. I rolled my eyes. Typical Luke.

"Hey Zach." A familiar, smaller voice said from behind Jeremy. I glanced around him and my eyes widened.

"What the fuck?" I whispered. Once the shock subsided, my eyes stoned and my jaw tightened. "What the fuck are you doing here?!" I was seething and glaring now.

She smiled softly. The smile that once melted my heart and caused my emotions to go in a frenzy. The innocent and loving look in her eyes that would stop a man dead in his tracks and take a second glance. The soft and angel like aura that would make you want to live in her presence forever. "I've missed you." She whispered.

Adrian

Emma and I were both seated in KFC with our orders in front of us. I took a gulp off of my lucozade. "So." I mumbled awkwardly.

"So..." Emma trailed off. "How have you been?"

I shrugged. Truth was, I've been better than ever. With Zach here to occupy and keep me company, I've been having a good time. "I'm good." I went with instead.

Emma nodded. "How's Zion?" I asked, my tone slightly bitter.

Her eyes softened. "He told me what you told him."

My eyes widened. "Do you think I'm lying as well?" I rushed out. I was curious. That immediately made me think of Zach. Curiosity kills the cat. The cat would've been on his sixth life if Zach was to be here but he wasn't, so it's still on his seventh life. I would've laughed.

She nodded. "Of course I do Adrian! Zion does too... he was just-"

I cut her off. "Blinded." I mumbled.
