kinda important a/n at the bottom!

Octavia took a seat on one of the chairs inside the ship, before she began to wrap her arm in gauze. Some falling rocks had impaled her, and then caused her arm to bleed out.

Cassian stepped from the passenger seat and waked towards the others in the back. "The empire is building a planet-killer. My father is the one who built it."

"Did Saw tell you this?"

"No. The message that the pilot brought did. It showed how the rebels can deactivate it. My father said that there was a flaw in the reactor that if we hit, the whole thing is destroyed."

"Do you have this message?" Cassian asked, taking a small step towards Jyn.

It took her a second to reply. "No- It all happened so fast. I-I didn't grab it."

Cassian let out an irritated sigh.

"We have to tell the rebels. Send them a message that they can destroy this thing."

"Jyn, we are in imperial territory." Octavia butted in.

Cassian nodded his head. "There is no way that I am risking sending that out here."

"Then we'll find my father and then he can tell the rebels himself."

Cassian's face changed for a moment. From regret and then back to a blank look.

"K2, set course for Eadu."

"Setting course for Eadu."

"Is that where my father is?" Jyn asked, her face lighting up.

Cassian nodded his head. "I believe so." He muttered, pointing at Bodhi.

"I'm one with the force and the force is with me." Chirrut said, repeating it over and over again. Octavia glanced over to see him staring out the window, but she knew that he was focusing completely on something in his head. Baze was to his right, completely zoned out. She did not understand how he could do that with Chirrut repeating that one phrase all the time.

"I'm one with the force and the force is with me." Chirrut muttered for the hundredth time. Octavia was counting. Finally, she became fed up with it. Jyn was in a conversation with Bodhi, so she stood up and walked to Cassian at the communicator. He had headphones over his ears, the microphone pushed up. "Cassian." She said. He instantly threw the headphones off and whipped his head around to face her.

"You startled me."

"Yeah, that was the goal." She paused to roll her eyes. Octavia opened her mouth to say something when he cut her off.

"What happened to your arm? Are you hurt?" He rushed. Concern filled his voice and face as he grabbed her arm, and began to inspect it.

"I'm fine, Cassian." She said, ripping her arm from his grip. He sighed.

"Octavia, you need to learn to not be so stubborn all the time. Let people in occasionally. It'll make your life a whole lot better."

She sighed before holding her arm out. Cassian was right. She was a stubborn person and never really let many people into her personal bubble after her parents' death. It really hit her hard. She had barely talked to anyone when she first joined the rebels.

Cassian held onto her arm and slowly unwrapped the bandages. He inspected the cut before sighing. "It is infected." He stated.

Octavia threw her head back and sighed. "I have a first aid in my bag, i'll take care of it." She said.

Cassian shook his head before turning around grabbing his own first aid kit. "Sit." He mumbled, pointing in the chair she was once sitting in. She obliged and backtracked to the seat.

He kneeled down in front of her and opened the first aid kit. "This may burn." Cassian muttered before dripping peroxide all over the cut. Octavia hissed before letting out yet another sigh. "Told you."

She grabbed more gauze from his kit and tried to wrap it herself, but Cassian was not having any of that. "No, let me wrap it. Just sit there." He said, grabbing the bandages from her hand.

She rolled her eyes before Cassian slowly wrapped it around her injured arm. While he was doing so, Octavia caught herself staring down at him with a fond smile on her face. Her and Cassian had been through a lot together. A rocky relationship, for starters. Being in an open-ended relationship was tough, especially when someone develops feelings. Octavia was just glad that he stuck with her through thick and thin.

"All done." He said, looking up and meeting her gaze. Cassian sent her a small smile before standing up and kissing her on the head.

"Eadu approaching." K2 called out, ceasing further conversation between the two.

Cassian walked away from Octavia and took a seat back on the passenger side. She slowly glanced around the ship and meeting Jyn's gaze.

"Oh, you're so whipped."
