Two days later, Octavia was walking around the rebel base with her brother at her side. "So that much has happened since I was gone?" She asked, glancing around at the over-crowded landing dock. Cael nodded his head as he looked around, as well.

He explained that the base had recruited many more people including pilots and even some jedi. He explained how the rebellion is trying their hardest to find out more information to beat the Empire. Though, they might have finally figured out how.

"What do you mean?" Octavia asked.

"There is some word speculating about a huge weapon that the Empire has a hold of. They call it the Death Star." He said.

"What can it do?"

"It destroys entire planets with a large laser beam."

Octavia shifted her gaze to the ground. If the Empire had that sort of power, who knows what they'll do with it. "How many planets have they destroyed?" She asked.

Cael shook his head. "None. Yet."

Octavia shuddered at the thought of an entire planet being blown into smithereens.

As both of them continued walking, Cael suddenly stopped. Octavia furrowed her eyebrows and turned to face him. She then saw him hugging his girlfriend, Lexa. Octavia sighed before continuing to walk down towards the loading docks.

Cael and Lexa have been dating for over four years now. They began dating when he was fifteen and she was sixteen. Both of them love each other greatly and Octavia has always been jealous of their perfect relationship.

R2-X2 met up with Octavia halfway through her journey. "I need you to see if there is anything broken in my ship. I'll have to fix it as soon as possible." Octavia said to the droid. It beeped in agreement before taking off towards her ship.

Octavia was thinking up everyday she could escape off of this planet if the Empire had found it. There was no way that she was going to die the same way her parents did.

R2-X2 had informed her that one of the wires under the ship had snapped and needed repair. Octavia sighed before grabbing the tools she needed off of the cart beside the ship. She then laid on her back and scooted herself way underneath the gigantic metal machine.

As she went and cut the stray pieces off the wire, a sound startled her. It sounded like someone was walking inside the ship and towards the pilot's quarters. Octavia rolled over and crawled her way out from under the ship. The large flying machine made a sound as if it was turning on and she gasped before rushing inside of it.

"Hey!" She called out as she ran around it. There was no one in the front two rooms so Octavia went and climbed the ladder towards the pilot's quarters. Octavia faintly heard the quiet sounds of a conversation as she continued up the long step way.

Octavia stepped into the small room and furrowed her eyebrows. "Cassian?" She asked as her eyes fell on him. "What the hell are you doing in here?"

He whipped his head around to face her with his eyes wide. "I thought you had a meeting with the senator." He said quickly. As Octavia opened her mouth to speak, his droid peeked out from behind the passenger seat.

"K2-SO?" Octavia asked.

"Hello, Octavia."

"Just- Why are you guys here?"

"Something broke and we are here to fix it." Cassian tried to explain.

"I was under the ship already fixing the problem." She muttered before turning around and walking down the ladder. The others quickly followed behind.

"What had happened?" Cassian asked, following behind Octavia as she walked out of the ship.

"A wire snapped. Nothing too major."

"That sounds pretty major to me." K2SO stated.

Octavia turned around quickly and looked up at Cassian. He stopped suddenly to prevent their bodies from colliding. "I was just trying to help." He mumbled.

"I know you were." She sighed. "I just have a lot on my plate at the moment."

"I know you do." Cassian sighed. "I can fix it for you, if you would like."

"No, no. It's okay. I'll fix it."

Cassian shook his head. Octavia had always been stubborn. Since the first day he met her, she refused any service that he offered. Everyone would agree that she does everything on her own and doesn't need anyone's help.

Cassian put his hands on her shoulders with a smile on his face. Octavia felt butterflies in her stomach. "Let me fix it. You go relax. We have a meeting with all the senators in a short while."

Octavia sighed before leaning forward into his embrace. "Thank you." She said, contently.

"It is no problem." He said while wrapping his arms around her.

Both of them stayed like that for a while. With Cassian's arm around her and Octavia's arm wrapped tightly around his waist.
