It took Cassian a few attempts to rise to his feet. The girl did everything in her power to try to ease some pain, but nothing was working. Though a miracle broke through when the male was able to pull to his feet with a loud grunt. Octavia smiled and grasped his waist, trying her best to keep him standing and steady.

"Come on, Cass. We got this." She muttered the words of encouragement as they continued towards the satellite dish.

It took them a few minutes to actually get up there, and they made perfect timing. General Krennic was ready to take a few shots at Jyn, who was on her way from positing the large metal above them. "Not today, Krennic." Octavia spoke, grabbing the gun from her holster and unlatching herself from Cassian.

"Octavia Malfoy! The bounty hunter from Tatooine." Krennic smirked, turning so that he could get a view of both women in front of him.

"In the flesh." She muttered, growling at the man in front of her. She hated him with every bone in her body. After being captured, he had taken a liking to her. He claimed that she was 'different' than the other prisoners that the Empire had. Krennic thought that the fact that she would never do anything that anyone said, made her unique from the others.

"Come on, you don't have to d-" Krennic started but was cut off from the sound of a laser whipping past.

Octavia cranked her head to the side to see Cassian on his feet and lowering his blaster slightly. She let out a loud sigh of relief to see that he was on his feet once again. Jyn raced to the control center in the middle of the platform and pressed a few buttons. Suddenly, a machine's voice saying "transmission being sent" sounded throughout. Everyone immediately threw their hands up in the air in a cheering sort of manner. This meant that the rebellion could stop the Empire once and for all. All thanks to Rogue One, the team of misfits.

"We need to get out of here. Jyn, go look for survivors. I'll get Cassian to safety." Octavia said after the three had regrouped themselves. Jyn instantly nodded her head before rushing to the elevator. Octavia wasted no time in running to her lover's side. "Are you okay?" Octavia asked, taking a glance at every one of his wounds.

"Better as I'll ever be." He tried to smile. Octavia let out a sigh before trying to hoist him to his feet. Soon the two were walking to the elevator where Jyn had disappeared through shortly before. As the doors opened, Octavia let go of him as they got closer to the walls. The two gripped the bars to steady themselves.

The elevator ride was the last pleasant thing that they had had in a while. Just the two of them, enjoying the silence and each other's company. Lights flashed over each other's faces as the light in the sky faded greatly. The two of them had accepted the inevitable. They knew that they did not have long to live.

After reaching the beach, Cassian stopped them. "I cannot go any longer." He said.

Octavia shook her head. "We have to keep going if we are going to survive."

Cassian smiled slightly before sitting down on the sand. Tears welled up in Octavia's eyes as she looked down at him. She did know that if she was to go out, it would be with her true love. That spot was filled by Cassian. So Octavia took a seat directly next to him. She refused to leave him behind.

"I love you, Cassian. I don't think I've ever said that." She spoke, her eyes taking in every inch of his face.

"You actually have not. But neither have I. I love you too, Octavia."

The two smiled. Their company was more than they could ever ask for. Octavia just hoped that Jyn was safe somewhere and not to be killed like the two who were watching the waves.

Though as soon as the green laser struck the horizon, Octavia was on her knees. Sobs escaped her mouth as she looked over at Cassian. She had always expected them to raise a little rebel family and live together in a nice, small house. She did not expect this was to be their fate.

As the cloud of gravel got closer, Octavia pulled Cassian to his knees and in for one last passionate kiss. The kiss that sealed their love. Everything they had been through was for that last moment. Though as the dust was about to overtake them, Octavia pulled herself away.

She smiled at the last bit of light in the sky and said, "I'll see you soon, little brother."
