(Y/N) POV

"20!" Everyone started to count down to midnight going down quickly. 2016 almost finished, 2017 only 15 seconds away. "13, 12!" everyone in the room chanted. Time went slowly for me as I searched the room. Im in a crowded room at some persons party. I don't know who's it was but my boyfriend Josh said it was one of his friends. We've only been dating for two weeks so the only people I really know are Tyler and his wife Jenna, but I don't even know them that good. We were in Ohio right now since Josh wanted to be with his other friends for New Years. I wasn't doing anything so I just came. We flew in earlier today.

I looked around the room for him. I didn't mind that he was with his friends but I at least wanted to kiss him at midnight. I looked around the room for him walking in all directions, forwards and backwards. It was hard to see his face; or anyways face to say. I didn't get what kind of New Years party this was. Everyone was dressed up and wearing mask. I guess it seemed fun but it was a little weird to me. "8!" everyone continued snapping me out my thoughts. I walked from the kitchen into the also crowded huge living room. "7!" I kept looking around and walking excusing myself for everyone I ran into. "6! 5! 4!" Looking for him was honestly useless at this point. I decided to look around the room for the neon yellow hairs boy, making sure to walk backwards making sure he wasn't behind me or anything. I seem to be half deaf and wouldn't be able to hear him over everything. "2!" Yep, I officially give up. I went to turn around and ran into someone, but luckily for me they caught me and held me by my waist. "1! HAPPY NEW YEARS!" Everyone yelled in unison kissing their significant other or the closest person next to them. I wish I had knew who this mystery person was. His mask covered everything but his brown eyes. "May I?" He asked. I was confused one what he meant since I'm stupid and slow at everything. I didn't say anything and I guess he thought it was okay. He pulled his ski mask thing just under his nose leaving only his mouth to be revealed. He leaned in and kissed me. I wasn't sure what to do so I kissed back going with it, it's already happening so I might as well just enjoy it and not make it awkward. Believe me, I hated myself since he wasn't josh but I have to say, he was a good kisser. I pulled back first and he looked into my eyes smirking before pulling his mask back down and disappearing into the crowd.

"Hey, wait! Come back. I just wanna see who's under the mask." I told him pushing through the people going in the same direction he ran off in. I probably wouldn't even know him but at least if I know his face maybe I could ask josh later.

"(Y/n)! I was looking for you!" Josh said stepping in front of me stopping me from going after the guy that ran into the other room of the huge house building thing the party was in. "Hey josh! I was looking for you but didn't see you anywhere either." I told him looking over his shoulder so I could maybe see the guy.

"I saved you something." He told me. "What is it?" I asked. He leaned down and kissed me. I kissed back hoping he wouldn't be able to taste anyone else but me. He pulled away smiling. "Sorry, Tyler and I were getting the fireworks ready and we heard the count down, he ran inside looking for Jenna and left me with a hand full of fireworks. I was trying to get in here before but I wasn't sure wha-" he kept talking. I put my finger on his lip, "it's fine. You still came back after so it's okay." I told him smiling. He smiled and hugged me. "I should go finish helping." He told me. "Wanna come?" He asked. I nodded and smiled taking his hands. He intertwined our fingers and we walked out. Most people put their mask back on after their kiss on but some left theirs off. Josh's was sitting on his hair while mine was in my hand. I put it back on and told josh to wait a minute. "I'm gonna go to the kitchen and get a drink, want anything?" I asked fixing my mask. "Nah, in good. I'll be outside when you come back." I said okay and walked into the kitchen.

In there the same guy was standing talking to another guy laughing. He saw me from across the room and we made eye contact. I couldn't see his facial expressions since his mask covered his face except his eyes. He walked over to me and I turned around to leave before another mistake happens. "Wait." I heard him say. He grabbed my arm and spinned me around in his arms.

"Sorry but I have a boyfriend. I have to get to." I tell him prying his hand off me. "Did you tell him I kissed you?" He asked. "No-" was all I said before he cut me off. "Well I guess you should tell him, you don't want him to find out by himself, or by me." He told me pulling me close to him. I pushed him off me and scoffed.

I started to walk out the room but he pulled me back in and pushed me up against the wall, his height beating mine.

"Who's your boyfriend anyway? Pretty sure I'd be able to beat his a-" I cut him off tired of him. "Josh, Josh Dun." I said. I could see his whole facial expression change from just his eyes. He backs away from me, "well I'll just be going." He tells me awkwardly walking away somewhere in the crowds of cheerful happy people. I rolled my eyes and grabbed a water bottle and was about to walk outside.

"Hey, (y/n) right?" Some girl walked up to me taking her mask off. She had long brown hair and a huge smile I didn't like. "Yeah, how do you know me?" I asked confused.

"Oh, in Josh's friend Emily. He's talked about you a lot since you guys started dating. I find it cute though." She told me.

"Oh, thanks." I awkwardly said not know how to reply. I'm bad at talking to people and I really didn't feel like talking to her. (Probably why I have like no friends). We talked for a good three minutes before I told her josh was waiting for me. She let me go and went to find someone else to talk to.

I walked outside and saw the same guy from the kitchen talking and laughing with josh. I walked over to him and they both looked at me. "Oh hey babe, I don't think you've met my brother Jordan. Jordan this is (y/n)." Josh introduced me. The guy took his mask off revealing himself.

"Y-your brother?" My eyes grew, I was confused but I knew I was blushing madly. He smirked thy same smirk from earlier and put his hand out. "Don't think we've met obviously, I'm Jordan, Jordan dun."
