For some reason everyone has a problem with Clockworks unrealistic appearance and story but what about Jeff? His is definitely not realistic either but he's probably the most popular and most loved character.
Now I'm not defending clockwork, I don't particularly think either of the two are good or realistic but I just want to know why it's a problem that clockwork is unrealistic but not Jeff.
They have quite a few similarities actually.
• they both mutilated their face. Clockwork stitched a smile and gave herself a clock eye. And Jeff burnt off his eyelids and slit his cheeks open.
• they both suddenly "snap" and murder people.
• they're both at a hospital though I'll admit it was more realistic in Jeff's case.
• they both murder their family for no reason with no remorse at all.
And yes they are very different. And no I don't think either of them have good stories. I just wanted to point out the similarities.
