This is something that's always kind of bothered or confused me.
Why are pastas like Jeff, Jane, BEN, EJ (my son), LJ, etc. considered "Canon" it's not like Creepypasta really has a "canon" in general. Every Creepypasta is made up by someone else, many of them are technically OCs themselves.
Like Ticci Toby for example. He's considered "canon" by most everyone in the Creepypasta fandom but he is an OC made up by Kastoway. Who sadly left the fandom because y'all are trash af. No offence I'm also trash.
And yes, as much as the term "Canon Creepypastas" bothers me, yes I do in fact want my OCs to be considered canon. Who doesn't really?
But yeah, this was short I don't really know what else to say on this topic.
