"James no!" Ginny yelled. Rushing forward to grab her two year old son.
"You know you aren't aloud to play with your dada's wand!" She scolded.
"Ginny have you seen my wand?" Harry asked coming down the stairs with a sleeping Albus.
"Yes your son decided he wanted to play with it." She said glaring at him.
Harry laughed.
"I have asked you multiple times not to leave it where he can reach it. Honestly it's like I have three kids." Ginny nagged.
"I'm sorry. I won't do it again." Harry said kissing her cheek.
"Dada." James said grabbing his pant leg.
"James." Harry said handing Albus to Ginny and picking him up.
"Boom boom." He squeaked.
"You want to go on the broom?" Harry asked.
"Yay!" James cheered clapping his hands.
"Okay lets go. Hurry being Mummy says no." Harry said.
"Harry!" Ginny said in a disapproving tone.
"Gin he'll be fine. I promise." Harry assured her.
"That broom better not make it three feet off the ground." She said seriously.
Harry smiled and ran out the door.
"I swear your dada is such a child when it comes to that broom." She cooed to the small child in her arms.
She kissed Albus's head and made her way outside to watch Harry play with James.
Hoping that her husband listened to her. James was too young to go very high.
Once she made it outside she was happy to be greeted by the warm summer breeze.
But her smile soon faltered when she saw her son and her husband high in the air on their brooms.
"Harry James Potter! I told you three feet!" Ginny glared at him.
"He's having fun Gin. Kids a natural." Harry defended himself.
As she looked James was doing well. But he was still too young in her opinion.
"Down now." Ginny said shifting Albus into her other arm.
"Come on buddy show Mummy how you land." Harry said.
James squealed in delight as he zoomed towards the ground.
"James not so fast." Harry warned.
But as per usual the child didn't listen to his father and crashed into the ground. The loud snap made Harry wince and Ginny scream.
She rushed towards him and examined his wounds. Harry landing seconds after she made it to him.
Ginny thrusted Albus into Harry's arms and scooped James up and ran into the house.
He cried. His little face red.
"His arm is broken and it's likely he has a concussion. Oh he cut his head. Harry I told you not to let him fly high." Ginny fumed.
"He was doing good. I thought he could do it." Harry reasoned.
"He's not old enough Harry. I don't want him on a broom until he's going to Hogwarts." She demanded getting a cool wet wash rag and attempting to clean the gash.
"Come on. Let's take him to the hospital." Harry said putting Albus in his car seat.
They weren't going to drive but having him in it was easier for them if they needed to set him down.
Once they got there they were immediately sent to a healer.
"My my what happened here?" She asked.
"Somebody let him on a broom. And that same somebody decided to not listen to me and let him flight higher than he should have." Ginny grumbled.
"At least he's stopped crying." Harry pointed out.
"Let's see little one." She waved her wand and his arm straighten out and was good as new.
Then she pointed her wand at his head and the cut was as if it was never there.
"There we go. All better." She said.
"Mum." James said reaching for Ginny.
"You're alright." She cooed, kissing his head.
"Boom boom?" He asked.
"No." Ginny said firmly.
"Oh Gin accidents happen. He's okay." Harry said picking up Albus's carrier.
"I'm telling your mum what you did. Then we'll see if you want to put him on a broom ever again." Ginny said angrily.
Harry's face paled. His mother would kill him. Her mother would be worse though.
"And then I'm going to tell my mum." Ginny said propping James on her hip.
"Never mind. No broom." Harry said quickly.
"Oh they will still know." Ginny said with a wicked smirk.
"Not if you don't tell them." Harry reasoned.
"I don't have to." She said glancing behind him.
Harry turned around quickly.
"Mum. Dad what are you doing here?" Harry asked.
"We were told the young Potter family was here and decided to see which one of you got hurt." James said.
"You put my grandson on a broom and let him do what?" Lily yelled.
Ginny giggled. This would teach him a lesson for sure.
