Cries could be heard throughout the chambers and all along the grounds of Hogwarts, for dear Lily Potter clutched her unconscious son for dear life.
"Mrs. Potter let me through please." Madam Pumfrey spoke urgently. But young Lily Potter was having none of it.
"Harry baby please wake up." She cried.
"Lily, let Poppy through. She needs to see him so she can help him." James whispered, placing a comforting hand on her back.
Lily reluctantly pulled away from her son, looking up to see all the students craning their necks to see Harry. But one stood out of them all. The young red haired girl will tears streaming down her face. "Ginny come here sweetie." Lily murmured gently.
As the young girl made it her she wrapped her arms around her and whispered comforting words in her ear.
"All right everyone calm down, please make room for us so we can get Mr. Potter some medical attention." Professor Dumbledore said.
The students parted, and a clear path was made.
Dumbledore whipped out his wand and conjured a gurney like thing and levitated Harry on it, and then floated Harry up to the castle.
James and Lily right behind them, Lily still clutching a sobbing Ginny.

After getting Harry situated into a bed Madam Pumfrey allowed James to change Harry into pajamas and out of his "filthy quidditch robes".
Once that was done everything kind of died down.
The team came and went, all but Ginny. She had a chair right next to his bed.
James and Lily sent Harrison and Haven with the Weasley's, seeing as how their attention was mainly on the wellbeing of Harry at the moment.
"Lily, Ginny come on it's time to eat." James said. Ginny's eyes never left Harry's sleeping body,
"No." She whispered. "He might wake up." James sighed. "Gin, Harry wouldn't want you to be like this, he'd want to make sure you were okay first." Lily said, brushing a lock of the young girls fiery red hair back.
"Poppy said he shouldn't be awake for a few hours. He's going to be just fine sweetheart." Lily muttered.

Hours turned to days and Harry Potter had yet to wake up.
His family sat worried by his bed.
"They said a few hours and it's been eight days!" Lily cried, running her hand through Harry's black hair.
"Mrs. Potter, he should wake at any moment." Madam Pomfrey assured her.
Lily sniffled, and looked over at Ginny. "She still hasn't eaten anything has she?"
James sighed. "No she hasn't. She refuses to leave him."
Lily looked down on the sleeping girl, still in her quidditch robes, and he hair thrown into a messy bun, dark circles under her eyes.
"I've managed some water but that's it." Molly said looking at her daughter sadly. "Every time Ron and Hermione come, they try and get her to eat, but she just won't do it. I hope Harry wakes up soon, for both of them."
James nodded wrapping his arms around Lily.
"Let's go for a walk my dear flower." He whispered in her ears. She nodded.
Milky went off to find the twins... Both sets.

Ginny sat awkwardly in an uneasy sleep, the old chair not exactly the most comfortable place to sleep. Her chair as close as she could possible get it to Harry's bed. She awoke, her eyes still red and puffy from crying so much.
She reached forward and grabbed Harry's hand and gently traced the scars on the back of his hand. She frowned, how had nobody noticed them?
For sure if Lily found out she would kill that evil old toad.
"Harry please wake up." She cried. Laying her head on his bed.
She cried and begged him to wake up. Eventually she fell asleep, exhausted from crying and her restless nights of sleep, that is if she got any.
She woke up to someone stroking her hair, she figured it was her mum or Lily. She turned her head and looked up to see which one it was, her eyes grew big when she saw it was Harry who had been messing with her hair.
"Harry!" She screamed. Jumping up and hugging him.
"Hey Gin." He chuckled lightly, hugging her gently.
They heard the clicking of heels coming quickly towards them and they both looked up to see Madam Pumfrey running their way.
"Mrs. Weasley what is with all the-" she stopped her angry rant when she saw Harry, with his eyes open.
"He woke up." She muttered happily burying her head in the crook of his neck.
"Welcome back Mr. Potter. You're parents will be please to know you're finally awake." She said happily, looking him over for any signs of abnormality. She seemed satisfied so she went off to find Lily and James.
"How long have I been out?" Harry asked, causing Ginny to tighten her hold on him a little bit.
"Eight days." She whispered, seeing as how she didn't trust her voice to get any louder.
"Oh. Um. I'm sorry Gin I didn't mean to-" she cut him off with a kiss.
"No! It wasn't your fault! And don't go dare try and take the blame. Goyle hit the bludger to the back of your head, Fred and George couldn't get to it fat enough, but if you want to pin this on anybody, its Goyle!" She growled. Harry chuckled. And nodded his head. Lifting his hand and caressing her cheek.
"I love you so much Harry, I was so scared you weren't going to wake up. Your mom said you were going to be okay, but half the time it felt like she was trying to convince herself rather than me." She cried. Harry frowned, and wiped away her tears. It's wasn't till then that he realized she was still in her Quidditch robes. His eyes narrowed. "Ginny." He sighed. "You're still in your robes." She blushed, biting her lip nervously.
"I didn't want to leave you." She murmured, he pulled her into the bed beside him. Without another word the young couple fell asleep. Both finally at peace for what seemed like forever.
