Colors (Modern Jassian AU)

1. My First Party

"Ouch. Ow!! A little easier please!" I said as I sat getting my hair done by my friends. My friends thought that I needed to have some more fun so I was like 'What The Heck'. I agreed to let them take me to parties and other fun stuff. Right now they were doing my hair so I could go to a party with them. My best friend Jessica was in charge of finding an outfit for me. My other friend Maria was in charge of my hair. My third friend Lily was going to do my makeup. Maria had brushed my hair and fixed it so it stayed to the side. Jessica had picked out a short royal blue dress that reached just above my knee. It had gold metal pieces along the edges of it. I made them let me pick out my own shoes. I chose a pair of black converse. Lily put red lipstick on my lips and did a neutral eye look. I was officially ready.

"So what party are we going to exactly?" I asked Maria.

"Cassian Andor's party. Every Friday night he hosts this epic party. That's where we go every Friday." Maria said.

"Yea last time Lily drank to much and we had to practically carry her back to the room." Jessica chimed in.

"Hey! I was having fun. Brendon asked me out that night." Lily said back.

"He also dumped you the next day." I said with a grin.

"I hate you guys." Lily said with a smile.

We laughed and continued walking the Cassian's dorm. All of his parties are rooftop parties. I don't understand how he doesn't get caught. Once we got there this really masculine guy stepped in front of the door to the rooftop.

"Name." He asked us.

"Jessica."

"Lily."

"Maria."

"Jyn."

"Go right ahead. Cassian is excited to meet the new party goer." Said the guy.

We walked in the door and up a flight of stair and when we reached the rooftop I was stunned. There were laser lights and music. There was a DJ. Everybody was dancing and it looked awesome.

"What are you waiting for? Let's go!" Maria said. She grabbed my hand and took me over to a group of people. She tapped a tall guy on the shoulder. He turned around. He had fluffy brown hair. He had dark brown eyes.

"Cassian! What's up!" Marie asked him.

"Nothing much! Same as usual. And who might you be?" He asked me.

"I'm Jyn." I said with a smile.

"So your the girl they tell me about. Going to parties is fun. Especially if I'm the host." He said with a smirk.

"Well I guess I'll have to see for myself." I said and I turned around and went to go and chat with Jessica.

We laughed a lot and had a few drinks. Eventually the party ended and we had to carry Lily home because she had a bit to much to drink. Once we got back to our dorm we threw Lily on her bed and she fell fast asleep.

"So how did you like your first party?" Maria asked me.

"I liked it a lot. I actually want to go with you guys next weekend." I told her.

"Good because you don't really have a choice. Wait a minute." She said. She walked over to me and looked straight into my eyes.

"You have that look in your eyes!" She said pointing to me.

"What look!" I asked.

"The look when you like somone. Let's see. Who did you talk to!" She said then she gasped.

"What!" I asked.

"You like Cassian! That's the only guy you talked to tonight." She said.

"Okay I think you better go to bed." I said. I got up and got in my bed. Maybe I did like Cassian. Just a little.
