I woke up the next morning at 5:30. It was a Monday. Great. Just Great. And as if on cue my alarm clock started buzzing. I rolled over in my bed hoping to hit the button but instead I fell face first onto the floor. What an excellent way to start a morning. I rolled over on my back and stared at my ceiling. The alam clock was still buzzing. I reached up and felt around the dresser. My hand found the alarm clock and in an attempt to hit the snooze button I ended up hitting it off of my dresser and it fell and hit my head. Then, tired of fighting with an alarm clock, I pulled the cord out of the wall and shut the thing off. I heard footsteps in the hallway and I let out a long sigh. The door to my room opened.

"Well I see someone decided to cuddle with the floor this morning." Maria said.

"Shut up and help me." I said. Maria walked over and helped me off of the floor. I flopped over on my bed. I felt defeated and I hadn't even been up for 15 minutes.

"Oh no you don't. We have a busy day today." Maria said.

"No I refuse to move." I said. I rolled over and faced the wall my bed was next to.

"Okay I guess we can do this the hard way." Maria said. She grabbed my foot and literally pulled me off the bed. I'm glad my bed isn't that far off the ground.

"Need help?" Jessica said standing in my doorway.

"A little bit yea." Maria told her. Jessica walked over and grabbed my other foot and helped her drag me to the couch in the living room. I climbed on the couch and sat down glaring at them.

"I hate you guys." I said to them.

"Love you too." Jessica said.

"Come on. Get out of this morning slump. We have class in 30 minutes." Maria said.

"What! Classes don't start until 8!" I said confused.

"Nope. The schedules changed remember. Mid-term exams are coming up and they made the classes longer." Jessica told me.

"You got an email." Maria told me.

"I never read my emails!" I told them.

"Well you just learned a valuable lesson then didn't you!" Maria said.

"Ughhh. This is just a perfect Monday for me then isn't it!" I said.

"Come on it's fine. We can do something fun later." Jessica said.

"If I'm not dead first." I said. I stood up and walked to my room and contemplated on what outfit to wear for the day. I stood in front of my closet pondering on what to wear. I didn't feel like going out today so I just threw on a pair of black leggings and a shirt that had a music note on it.

"Jyn! Let's go!" Maria yelled from the other room.

"I'm coming. Jeez give me a break!" I yelled back. I grabbed my backpack full of stuff and walked into the living room. Jax had stopped by to see Maria. He was holding her hand and they were chatting in the kitchen. I walked over to them and stood in the doorway.

"Alright spill. What's going on with you two?" I said. I walked over and stood between them.

"Well umm..." Jax started to say. He took his hand and ran it through his hair. A clear sign he was nervous.

"What Jax is trying to say is that yes we are indeed dating!" Maria said.

"Aww look at you two!" I said as I walked over to Jax. "If you dare hurt her I will snap your neck in half and throw you into a river. Now promise me you won't hurt her."

"I promise I won't hurt her." Jax said. I smiled.

"Thanks. We'll get along just fine while your dating her. I'll see you guys in class." I said. I grabbed my keys off the counter and walked out of the dorm. I headed to my first class and I kept thinking about one thing.

Boy do I hate Mondays!
