5. Sunday Funday

I woke up the next morning not really wanting to do anything. It was a Sunday so I didn't really have to do anything. Sunday Funday. Yay! The sarcasm is real. Knowing me this Sunday Funday would not be fun at all. My plan was to go to Starbucks. Order a Caramel Frappuccino and return to my dorm. That was what I was going to do. I hoped I wouldn't run into anyone or at least not many people.

I threw on a pair of black leggings, a Halsey shirt, and put on my black and teal sweatshirt. It was around 9am so no one in my dorm room was awake. I threw on some teal converse and walked out the door. As I was walking someone called my name.

"Jyn!" I turned around to see Jax running towards me.

"What is it Jax?" I asked.

"About what happened last night-" He started to say but I cut him off.

"Do we have to talk about what happened?" I said to him.

"Yes. Yes we do. Cassian well he has a broken nose and a minor concussion. It's not serious at all. He should be out of the infirmary place in about a week." Jax said.

"Thanks for letting me know I guess." I turned around and started to walk but Jax stopped me.

"Don't worry about what happened. Cassian isn't making a big deal out of it. He says he kind of deserved it. People have actually been laughing at him about it." Jax said.

"Really!" I said. I was a bit confused. Why would they laugh at him?

"Yeah. Check the Instagram posts." He said. I pulled out my phone and looked at the Instagram pictures from last night. Sure enough people had been commenting laughing emojis and other funny things. They were making fun of him because he got knocked out by a girl. They were also saying that I should become and MMA fighter or something that had to do with punching people or things.

"Wow things aren't as bad as I thought they would be." I said.

"Not yet at least. Cassian doesn't know that people are making fun of him. He knows he deserved that punch now but when he realizes what this will do to his reputation he might not think that anymore..."Jax said.

"Wow way to make me feel better." I said sarcastically.

"I just thought you should know." Jax said with a small smile.

"Yea thanks for that." I told him.

"Okay now on to what I needed to ask you. Do you know where Maria is?" He asked me.

"She's asleep in the dorm but she said she was going to Starbucks at noon." I told him.

"Thanks. I'll see you later." He said.

"See you later." I told him. I turned around started walking towards the Starbucks. I wondered why Jax wanted to see Maria. I decided I would go back to Starbucks at noon and eavesdrop. I mean why not?

As soon as I ordered my usual Starbucks order I walked outside and headed straight to my dorm. So far the only person I had ran into was Jax. As I was walking another person called my name.

"Jyn! Can I talk to you for a minute?" I turned around and saw Lily. She must have been released from the Teacher's Lounge. I hurried up my pace because I reallu didn't want to talk to her.

"Running away won't do anything!" She yelled at me. "I think you just know Cassian will choose me and not you! You just won't face reality."

I was debating wether to keep walking or turn around and fight that girl. Who does she think she is! I was going to keep walking until she said one thing that brought my anger to its boiling point.

"You always knew I'm better than you! But now you finally have to see it!"

"What is wrong with you!" I turned around and asked her.

"Nothing is wrong with mean. It's just you who has some problems." She said with a laugh. That did it. I ran towards her and tackled her to the ground.

"You deserve this!" I yelled. I punched her in the stomach.

"You monster!" She yelled back. Then she kicked me in my stomach. She flipped me over so she was on top of me. Then she punched me in my stomach.

"You started this." I said. Then I flipped her back over and punched her in the side of her face.

"Ladies! Break it up!" Someone said. It was Jax. He grabbed me and pulled me off of Lily.

"Let me go!" I yelled at him.

"If I let you go will you not go aftet her?" Jax asked. I was tired of fighting so I agreed.

"I guess." I told him.

"Alright now we are going back to the dorm to settle this right now!" He told the both of us.

"Fine." I said.

"I was going there anyway." Lily said. She started back to the dorm.

"No killing each other alright." Jax told me.

"I'll try not to kill her I suppose." I replied.

"Good Jyn." Jax told me. I laughed and we started walking back to the dorm.
