A/N: So, I return. I'm back. I'm sorry for the long wait and I realise now I did leave you for a long time but I'm here now with another chapter that hopefully lives up to your expectations as I've been gone from this story for a fair while now. If you like this one, then you might enjoy my other two. I have another Malec story that I encourage you to go and read and a one shot series with Malec, Heronstairs and Clace in it... Mostly Malec... Anywho, we've got a Malec quote above that's fitting for the story along with Yellow Shirt by The Icarus Account.

"Alexander." a voice breathed in Alec's ear, causing him to bolt upright. He glanced around rapidly. He was on the floor of a bedroom. Magnus's bedroom. "Alexander." the voice whispered again. Alec quietly stood up, heading for his weapons belt silently, trying not to disturb the sleeping warlock.
Alec grabbed his stele and seraph dagger, pocketing the stele and activating the Seraph dagger with a quiet whisper of 'Israfiel.'
Alec made his way out onto the landing. He looked down, over the bannister, to see no-one below. His name was whispered again and he saw a door that was next to the staircase open slowly. Alec quickly activated his Stealth rune and made his way downstairs. He pushed on the door. Through the door was a staircase and darkness. He was about to descend as darkness didn't frighten him when he heard a voice behind him.
"Just what do you hope to achieve by going down there?"
Alec spun around quickly, startled. Leaning against the wall was Theresa Gray, as Alec remembered, smirking. She wore a dressing gown that was pulled tightly around her.
"I heard someone say my name. This door opened so I-" Alec never finished his sentence as he was cut off by Tessa yelling.
"MAGNUS! RAGNOR! GET DOWN HERE NOW!" she called startling Alec for the second time in the span of about two minutes. A door slammed open followed by another being more gently opened. On one side of the landing, Magnus's head popped over, angry and the other revealed a less red-faced Ragnor.
"What do you want, Tessa?" Ragnor asked.
"Get down here before we wake anyone else." she replied. The two made their way down Alec and Tessa.
"What's the matter?" Magnus asked, exasperated.
"She's talking to Alec." Tessa spoke, her voice low.
"She? Who's she?" Alec questioned.
"What did she say?" Magnus asked, turning to Alec.
"My name. That's all."
"Alexander." the voice whispered again. Alec turned his head to the doorway, confused.
"What? What is it?" Ragnor asked, placing a hand on Alec's shoulder.
"I heard it again. It's definitely coming from down there." Alec pointed to the now open door.
"Damnit." Magnus sighed, taking a hold of Alec's forearm and dragging him upstairs and back into the bedroom. He slammed the door behind him.
"What the hell!" Alec cried. The voice called out to him again and his vision darted to the closed bedroom door from looking at Magnus.
"Ignore it. Do not go down there, ever. Am I clear?" Magnus asked, deadly serious.
"And what if I disobey?" Alec shot back.
"Then, upon nightfall, I'll force you outside and I won't let you back in until the night is over. Am I clear?" Magnus repeated. Alec froze.
