"I love you"

I smile and say," I love you too Dun", before both of us drift off to sleep. A few seconds later I could hear Josh's soft snores and fall asleep myself.

~Time skip to two weeks later when you guys are on break from tour brought to you by Josh's love for oreos~

Today was the last concert for this year, the boys really deserve a break. I could hear the banging of the drums from the back dressing rooms. More screams erupted as Trees continues to play, then the confetti cannons went off. Moments later I could hear Tyler," We are Twenty One Pilots and so are you". Then I heard a knock on the door,"come in". A sweaty Josh enters the room. "How was your last show for this year?" I ask. He smiles,"It was great, you should've been out there when we preformed Trees". "I know I should've but I started getting a major migraine". "Awe my poor baby", Josh coos and wraps his arms around my waist. I roll my eyes and smile," oh shut up Dun". He smirks at my comment and lays his forehead against mine,"(Y/N)?" I look up into his eyes,"Yeah Josh?". "So Christmas is coming up and I...well",He starts to hesitate," ummm doyouwanttocomehomewithmeandmeetmyfamilyforchristmas?" He actually wants me to come home with him? And actually meet his family? I smile wide," Josh I would love to!" Josh's face brightens up," Really?" He picks me up and spins me around. "Joshua!" I laugh out. "This is great! Hang on I have to tell my mom there's going to be a plus one", He says and pulls out his phone. He dials in a number and waits for Momma Dun to pick up. Once she picks up he walks to another room to talk to her privately, which I don't mind. He's such a momma's boy and it's really cute. But it's going to be my first Christmas in awhile where I'm actually with a family. I usually just have friend Christmases since my mom is gone and there's no way I'm going back to see my dad. Josh has done so much for me, I don't know how to thank him for this. But what am I going to say to his parents?? I don't want to screw this up.... Josh walks back in and notices my worried face. "(Y/N)? Is everything okay? You look worried", He walks over and grabs my hand. "I'm fine josh", I say. "(Y/N), I know you're not fine. What's wrong?" I sigh,"I'm just worried about meeting your parents. This is going to be my first time meeting them, AND your siblings...and...I-I Just don't want to screw it up because I really love you and I don't want to mess anything up-". Josh stops me," (Y/N), they are going to love you no matter what. I know it's going to be weird and a bit scary meeting them at first but trust me, you'll be fine and you won't screw anything up. I love you and I wouldn't put you in a situation that you're uncomfortable with. I just really want to spend my Christmas with you, you're my everything". "josh....", I whisper. He pulls me in closer and leans in for a kiss. I smile and melt into the kiss. We break away and Josh has the biggest grin on his face.

-time skip brought to you by the Emotional Roadshow ( I went on February 26th and it was greeeaaatttttt)-

Josh and I finish packing our suitcases and head to our 'private' car. Airport bound. Tyler and Jenna were supposed to come with us but they picked a different airline so their plane comes in later. I can tell Josh was a little disappointed but I think he enjoys our 'alone time'. I put my last bag into the trunk and hop into the back seat. Josh still has a bit of bed head but I think he looks adorable with it. The airport was an hour away and our plane takes off in three hours (5am) so I know he's hella tired. We were only 10 minutes into the car ride and he drifted off to sleep. So, being the person that I am, I take a quick snapchat of him snoozing and caption it 'nap time, snap time'. I put my phone away and hold Josh's hand. I have so many things on my mind and holding his hand always calms me. after a few more minutes on the highway, the road started getting bumpy. I cursed,"Damn potholes. Why can't the government use our taxes to fix messes like this?" the driver chuckles at my comment. I look over to see if Josh was still sleeping or not. Surprisingly, he still is. I swear he could sleep through anything. For the rest of the ride, I take my time and look at the scenery, or what I could make out of the scenery since it was still dark out.
