I wanted to stay in his arms forever. I felt safe from the horrors of the world. The time passed by so quickly, it was already 3 am. Josh breaks the silence,"(Y/N), you should try to get some rest now". I nod but I never wanted to leave his arms. Josh walks me to my room and starts to close my door. I wanted to stop him so he could stay with me. But I was too late as he closes the door and I hear his soft footsteps head to the living room. Are my feelings for him real? Does he feel the same way? I let out a heavy sigh and slam my head against my pillow.
Josh's P.O.V
I close (Y/N)'s door and head back to the living room. I wanted to stay with her, to make sure she was alright. I didn't want to leave her. But I have to go back to Tyler and the tour. Maybe I could ask her to come with me? Would she say yes? Jenna gets to come one tour with us, why not (Y/N)? Well, Jenna is Tyler's wife and (Y/N) is just....I don't know what to call (Y/N). I want to call her mine.
Your P.O.V
I wake up and slowly get out of bed. I'll have to say goodbye to Josh tomorrow. I grab my black shorts and one of my Panic! At The Disco shirts. I wonder if Josh is up? I slowly open my door and tip toe to the living room. When I reach the living room I look over to the couch, no Josh.
I raised my eyebrow wondering where he could be. That's when I heard the shower turn on in the guest bathroom. I smirked," Time to play a prank on Dun". I hide behind the couch where Josh couldn't see me and waited. After about 20 minutes of hiding behind my couch I heard the bathroom door open. "My time has come", I whispered as footsteps came closer to my location. Once the footsteps stopped near the couch I jumped out. "AGHHHH!!!! WHAT THE HECK?!!", Josh screamed as I fell on top of him. I quickly got up, trying not to make things awkward, and laughed," Ha! I got you Dun!!". Josh smiled," yes you got me, now can you help me up?" He reached out his hand and I grabbed it. All of a sudden he pulled my hand and I fell on top of him, again. "Got you (Y/L/N)", he smirked. I let out a small giggle and look into his deep brown eyes.
Our noses were touching, the perfect opportunity for us to kiss. But then we got interrupted by a knock at my door. I got up and went to answer my door," yes?" It was my neighbor giving me back Dakota. I thanked my neighbor and closed my door. I set the carrier down and opened the small door. Josh sat up and looked at the carrier, waiting for Dakota. Dakota quickly came out to greet me and noticed there was another human in her territory.
She slowly walked towards Josh then she stopped and sat down, she looked up at him with wonderment. Josh let out his hand for Dakota to examine it before she let him pet her. Quickly, she realized Josh wasn't a threat and put her head against his hand for him to pet. "She's cute", Josh says while scratching behind her ears. I whisper," so are you". Josh looked up at me," what?" I shook my head," nothing. But yes she is cute". Close one. After a few more minutes of giving our attention to Dakota, Josh and I decided to go get breakfast. Breakfast meaning a coffee and possibly a scone from Starbucks. I pulled on my shoes, put on some make up, grabbed my keys and headed out the door with Josh. I unlocked my car and we head off. I plugged in my phone and Trees started playing.
Josh smiles and started talking his fingers with the beat against the car door. All of a sudden I had an urge to sing," I know where you stand, silent in the trees. And that's where I am, silent, in the trees. Why won't you speak? Where I happen to be". I finished off Trees and Josh stared at me, be bewildered. "I-i didn't know you could sing. You're amazing!", Josh says still amazed. I blush a little," Thanks. I don't sing that often. In fact your the second person to ever hear me sing". I pulled into the Starbucks parking lot and we headed inside. "Who was the first to hear you sing?"Josh asks as we wait in the long ass line. "My friend Melanie. It was actually on our way to your concert with Tyler", I reply. "You have a beautiful voice, why hide it?" He asks. I look up to him," Josh you know I'm insecure and I care what people think. I'm scared of what other people would say and I'm scared of..." I trail off. Josh looks at me concerned and then realized," your scared of hurting yourself again". I nod. Josh took my hand," I'm here for you (Y/N) don't you forget that. Ok?" I smile," thank you Josh".
After waiting for what seemed like forever we got our coffees and headed out. "Hey do you want to go to the mall? Hot Topic has a sale", I say starting up the engine of my (favorite car). Josh nods,"Sounds good".
~time skip to mall~
Before we got out of the car I stopped Josh," Wait. Are you sure you're ready for this? We're going to Hot Topic". Josh looked at me confused. "Josh. You're in a band. Hot Topic is full of band merch and band obsessed people", I say. "I'll be fine, besides I have a hoodie on so I can kind of conceal my identity", Josh says while pulling his hood on. We walk inside the mall and head straight to Hot Topic. A worker greeted us," Hi welcome to Hot Topic! Do you need help finding anything?" I nod," Where is all of your Twenty One Pilots merch?" Josh let out a small laugh.
The worker pointed us to the back wall and we walked (more like ran) to the back. Luckily there weren't any people in the back so Josh put down his hood. "You know I could get you this merch?" Josh said as I gazed upon the shirts. "Don't like your own merch huh Dun?" I ask sarcastically. Josh nudged me," no I love our merch but I'm in this band so I see it all the time". I pick up a shirt," Well I'm not in the band so I don't get to see it 'all the time'." Josh smiles," True but you could be the third secret member with that amazing voice of yours". I blush," Shut up Dun".
Of course someone had to hear me say Dun. A girl ran up to us," Josh Dun is that really you?!!??!!" Josh smiles and nodded. The girl let out a little scream," Can I get a picture with you?" Josh replied," Sure!" He looked over to me and mouthed "Sorry". I mouthed back"it's okay". The girl noticed me and gave me a disgusted look," ew who are you?" Did she really just say that to my face? Josh tensed up," This happens to be (Y/N)". The girl snapped back," yeah and?" Josh wrapped his arm around me," My girlfriend". The girl's mouth dropped as we walked out of the store.
"Wow Dun,sassy much?", I laugh out. Josh's arm was still around me and he pulled me in closer," Anything to protect you".
