"I'm no good without you"
"Josh?"
"Yeah (y/n)?"
"I hate this. This unnecessary fighting. But for some reason I still feel upset. I don't know why, I just do. Is it because I care too much? You're one of the most important people in my life and I the thought of losing you...I don't think I can handle it. I'm sorry I yelled at you. I'm sorry I judged you and assumed you purposefully went behind my back to hook up with some one else. I'm sorry..."
"Stop saying your sorry"
"sorry..."
Josh chuckled at my accidental apology.
"I'm just....scared. Scared that I will lose you, that I will never see you again. This must sound super cheesy but I don't care because I love you too much"
"I love you too," Josh whispers quietly and puts his hand on mine.
*time skip forward two weeks*
"Hey (y/n) Tyler and I are going to the studio today, you should come with us", Josh yells from the kitchen as I walked down the stairs. We were still in Ohio but Tyler and Jenna let us stay at their house for the time being since Josh had an apartment in California and we didn't want to stay longer than we needed to at his parent's house.
"Yeah that sounds like fun, I'm in", I reply with a smile.
Josh and I were taking things slow since the fight. I was still on edge for some reason and Josh could tell.
"Great, I'll go tell Tyler", Josh leaves me in the kitchen and walks out the back door to the patio where Tyler and Jenna was sitting. After a few short moments, both of them walked in.
"Is Jenna not coming?" I asked.
"No, she said she wanted to get a few things done around the house but knowing her she's just going to bake a lot, not complaining though! I love her baking", Tyler responds.
I nod in agreement,"Her baking skills are quite impressive"
"Couldn't agree more", Tyler chuckles. "Alright let's get going, we have to show you what we've been working on."
And with that, we all hoped into Tyler's car and drive to the studio. The studio wasn't too far from the house and it was a decent place to work. When you walked in, it smelled like an old music shop with old vinyls covering the shelves and it had a relaxing vibe, if felt safe and comforting. We walked down a couple of hallways and walked into an open room with instruments everywhere. On one side of the room there was a piano and I quickly became drawn to it. I walked over to it and crushed my fingers against the keys. Without thinking, I started to play. My fingers moved swiftly across the keys as I played. I didn't realize what I was playing until I caught my self humming along.
"He has fallen in love.
He knows it's enough. But the world looks down and frowns.
Get up, Johnny boy, get up, Johnny boy
Get up 'cause the world has left you lying on the ground.
You're my pride and joy,
You're my pride and joy.
Get up, Johnny boy, because we all need you now"
After playing those chords, I stop.
