Chapter 23 - Feelings

Third person POV
Stella was still sound asleep with no movements. Everyone was worried about Stella's condition because they all care deeply for her. They were also very curious to her sudden fall. Obi, Zen, and Mitsuhide on the other hand has an idea about what could be causing such problems for Stella. They had already been told by Stella bits of her past.

Everyone was in Stella's guest room to discuss the matter. The doctors and herbalists had informed them that they have never seen such conditions, but that they'll try their best.

"Can someone please explain this matter?! I'm very confused about who Stella is and why she sounded so....different! I don't know her, but judging on how she acted when I first met and saw her, she's clearly different than what I saw!" Raji exclaimed as he ruffled his hair and yelled in the large room. Zen glared at Raji to quiet him down because they were in Stella's room as she slept.

"Master..." Obi called out to Zen in a serious tone and Zen turned to face Obi.

"What is it Obi?" Obi quickly glanced at Stella then back to Zen.

"Do you think this has to do something with Stella's past?" Everyone besides the three males that know part of her past gave a confused and worried face. Shirayuki's expression showed the most concern because she didn't conceal it as much, but had Kiki to comfort her.

"Zen.... I think it's her that Stella mentioned..." Mitsuhide said out loud as both Zen's and Obi's eyes widened in shock. The rest were very confused and was kinda frustrated since they were clueless.

"Zen...? Obi, Mitsuhide.... What are you guys talking about?" Shirayuki piped up as she slightly pulled away from Kiki and more towards the three males. Raji and Sakaki on the other hand were silently listening. (I'm surprised you're quiet Raji... I'm quite proud of that accomplishment!)

"Well... I think Obi would know more, right Obi? You're obviously closer to Stella so I'm pretty sure she told you more." Obi just sighed and looked over to Stella's still body of ice.

"It was more like a book that told me more than what she must of told you too..." Shirayuki piped up in surprise.

"I remember! She found this book in the library and it was called 'The Dark Secrets of The FairyIsland Rulers'... She told me that she came from there and that she's a part of the rulers..."

"W-what?! She's from a royal family!? I heard they had a fall of their kingdom five years ago, but....it was rebuilt by some of the remaining rulers.... They're extremely powerful!.... It'd be a huge miracle if any country can create an alliance with them!" Raji shouted as Zen once again glared at Raji to keep his voice down, but along with everyone else glaring at him. Even Sakaki himself! ((O.O) <= my face!) Raji jumped away from everyone and pointed his forefinger at Sakaki.
"Why Sakai! You're suppose to protect me! Glaring at me is not acceptable!" Raji didn't yell this time but whispered yell. Sakaki ignored his master and motioned him to listen to the conversation. Raji's pride felt hurt but listened.

"Master... Is it okay with you if I tell them everything?" Zen nodded his head in approval as Obi  glanced at Stella and began.

"Stella seems to have this unknown personality. Like an alternative of what we see of her, but we've never actually seen this side of her's... Like what Shirayuki said, she's a daughter of the FairyIsland royal family, but by adoption. All of the siblings were adopted... Her and her siblings were to kill each other for eternal immortality and wealth... It was stopped but I wasn't given an answer from both Stella and the book to how it stopped... The remaining afterwards I don't know anything... I don't know how Stella came to be founded from such far lands or to what exactly happened for it to stop....and I don't know why she's still not there and more.... Im not sure if she's not to be there if because of her brother's death or not... The book mentioned that the island was put into extinction because of the countless battles...but right now it's still in huge power... This doesn't make sense..."

Everyone was silent as they all had solemn expressions. That was until it was broken by a question by Raji.

"Wouldn't she have multiple brothers out of the seven? Do you know anymore details about that brother of hers?" Mitsuhide was staring at the ground wearing a saddened expression along with Zen because they knew how important her brother was to her...

"I don't know about her other siblings...but one of the brothers was with her even before they got adopted.... It was kinda....it was a brother complex thing....Stella really loved him and he ended up dying...trying to protect her..."

Obi clenched his fists as he finished speaking. He felt his heart beating in agony... He couldn't get over the fact that Stella wouldn't get over her love for her brother.... It made him feel heartbroken...

Ruffles of blankets behind them gave them a surprise as they whipped their heads to see Stella awake. They all ran to her bedside, but Obi was standing a few feet away from the bedside.

"S-stella! How are you feeling?/ What happened?!/ I was so worried sick!/ Do I have to call for the herbalists?!"

Stella shook her head to Raji's question of bringing in herbalists and observed her surroundings. Her eyes landed on Obi's still form and stood out of bed which everyone made room for her to get up. They all had concern looks as she steady herself while walking in front of Obi. Everyone stepped back to give Stella some more space knowing that she'll do something.

Stella was now in front of Obi while keeping her line of sight on his covered face with his black bangs. Then she did something very unexpected.

*SLAP*

Everyone flinched at the echoing of the slap as they knew that it would hurt...even if it was Obi.

Obi looked up surprised to see Stella's blank expression but she had this hurt feeling in her eyes. She took a step back and didn't break contact from Obi's now revealed eyes. Obi was still awestruck at what happened and is honestly trying to process everything. The red spot where Stella struck grew in shade as Obi touched his cheek and flinched.

"Miss-" Obi was cut off by Stella.

"Obi... You're blaming yourself because I'm like this, aren't you?..." Obi's eyes widened in shock and knew she hit the target with a bullseye. "Stop blaming yourself...because when I had blamed myself countless times at the end of battles of death.... I got caught up in everything that.....someone that I really love and care for died....protecting me! I still blame myself right now for that, but I'm trying to fix that by making a vow to protect my new friends! Like you Obi! And everyone else here!"

Stella was sobbing as she glared at Obi with mixed feelings. Obi was in awestruck and shock and felt something that hurt his chest in a good and bad way. It made him feel like he's needed but at the same time, it hurt to see Stella sobbing....especially since it's been confirmed that she still loves her deceased brother...

Everyone besides Obi himself left the two to give them room. Raji on the other hand was too dumb to take a hint and was forced to get out by Zen and Sakaki.

Obi felt hurt seeing Stella like this and embraces her into a tight and warm hug of comfort. Her cries were muffled in Obi's shirt as he kept holding onto her like the world was gonna end.

Raji's POV
"Shirayuki?"

"Yes Raji?" I hesitated for a moment then asked her a question as everyone else looked back to us to hear what question I had.

"Is Obi and Stella lovers?" Everyone seemed to have sweat dropped and gave me weirded looks. I flinched back and exclaimed.

"Don't look at me like that!... So they are lovers!" Everyone sweat dropped once more and turned around to walk away. I flinched and too tried to catch up to them.
