Third person POV
The ball of Tanbarun's special guest and alliance was only two days away. Everyone in the castle was anxious for the awaiting day. Servants, guards, chefs, castle staff, and Raji were all nervous in trembling excitement(?). Preparations for the big event led everyone to be everywhere within the castle to hurriedly get the castle presentable for such high class visitors. The whole gang was chatting cheerfully together in wonder of the ball and the day that awaits them all. That is if only Stella were to join the whole group to create a whole and if Obi would stop holding a facade when with the group.
Obi is distracted in his thoughts that was filled of questions about Stella. The gang knows that Obi is bothered and is halfheartedly smiles and laughs.
They too know that he is worried and curious about Stella. Raji on the other hand, he's a bit too slow to understand the feelings between Stella and Obi, but too notices Obi's forced self.
Away from the whole gang, Stella is "locked" in her room that she is staying in for the meantime.
With bangs covering her tear filled face, she stared above to the ceiling in wonder. Her mind was a wreck that was slowly drowning in the vast sea with previous fallen memories that had too drowned in sorrow. All that was going through her mind were agonizing memories of once loved ones. Cheers of joy of her past were only a time of illusions that felt so real to have such emotions. Because of those crazy flashbacks and memories, she's been having terrifying illusions and voices that run through her head which were not Chinodori.
"I-I miss you...... I w-want to ch-change time.... H-hold your h-hand..... I'm so u-useless.... I st-still can't get over the past...."
Stella shielded her eyes in shame of the mental world of haunting illusions and cried. Her feelings were too strong for the feelings of all the crimes she committed from her parents' games. She felt cold and agony....
'Hey brat! Stop thinking about the past! Clear your crying face and spend time with the fools! Your dwelling of the past is a nuisance!'
'Huh...? How can I not stop thinking of the past...? Aren't you hurt by this too?'
'Of course I'm hurt. I'm basically you but another personality hidden deep inside, but.... You should spend more time with new people that makes you happy, you dumbass!'
'......'
'Are you an idiot...? You get to actually spend time with them yet I can only internally meet them without them ever knowing the true me back! You'll regret not spending more time with them for not getting to know each one of them better and sharing fond memories! Stop dwelling on things you can't control!'
'But-'
'What are you? A kid? You do know that things can't be changed and that you're having a grand opportunity to meet and cherish people whose smiles are real... SO DON'T MESS UP YOUR LIFE BY BEING SELFISH AND OPEN UP YOUR DAMN HEART TO PEOPLE WHO ACTUALLY CARE FOR YOU!'
'You're right...! I was being selfish... Yeah. I'll go see the gang and create fond memories together. Thank you Chinodori. Thank you... I appreciate you having your own feelings and being by my side even when we're stuck together.'
'Shut up! Just go and see them already, but wash your face first! You look like crap! And... Don't wish for the dead to come back.'
'Yeah... I won't wish on anymore about that! I'll move forward! Plus, although we're basically the same soul when put together, you're the best! I'm glad to still have you!'
'Just wash your face for a quick sec and go already!'
'Okay okay! Thank you again!'
Rushing to the bathroom connected to her bedroom, Stella quickly rinsed her face with refreshing cold water. Smiling, she wiped her face with a fluffy white towel and stuffed on her boots as she ran out of her door in a hurry.
