Chapter 5

                The day had come and we are to travel. Kachina packed for me for the whole trip.

                “May the Moon Goddess bless you” Akule said

                “We’ll miss you all” Kachina said while Mark and Jeff hugged the three of us.

                “We’ll be back soon.” Connor said

                Then we entered the car. I was seated at the backseat leaving me the entire space.

                While on the road Amber couldn’t compose herself seeing the woods. I was in curled position and struggling not to move. It felt like a fever and her howling was strong.

                “Are you okay my Lady?” Connor asked

                “Just (pant) let me (pant) be. Wolf is (pant) struggling” I said really struggling

                Then Amber settled as I reminded her why we’re here. Then I catch my breath as I felt every drop of sweat.

                Then Emily asked “Why wont you let Amber come out?”

                “In this world my mate should be the first to see me in my wolf form.” I answered

                “Leira” Connor then said as I sat up. Then I looked at him at the rear view.

                “Why were you here?” he asked

                “A mission to fulfill.” I answered

         “What mission Leira – were basically putting ourselves in danger and you owe as an explanation” he said

                “You’re right” I said

                Then Emily looked at me.

             “The Moon Goddess sent me here and it must be pretty bad out here. She’s wary of what could happen next. Peace were broken. Packs are wiped. Pups are killed. Those are just some of the things why I’m here.” I said

                “Why are we visiting the packs?” Connor said

                “We need to prepare for the war that the rogues are yet to declare.” I answered

                And we didn’t speak more. I just looked outside and listen to the music Emily played.

                “How long more to the next pack?” I asked

                “Half an hour” Connor said

                Then Emily said “We should stop over to eat we’ve been driving for hours”

          “Yeah” Connor said then stopped in a gasoline station and a big letter M that says McDonalds.

                Emily went in and Connor went to fill the gas and I sat down.

                I closed my eyes to listen more on Emily’s music then she was coming smelling the food that she got.

                “Hey, you’re hungry?” she asked then Connor got inside.
