Chapter 8

                Connor stopped at a gas station and Emily is buying food again. Connor was done and went in then I asked “Connor, I don’t know what feeling is this towards the pack were going to.”

“Leira, I will protect you – don’t worry” he said looking at me. Then Emily came in and said “What I miss?”

“Our sister here is having intuitions about the Stone-Cold pack” Connor said then Emily looked at me “Leira, everything will be alright”

I slept the whole trip and then I scented a strong wolf – a beta scent. Then I woke up in shock and then they were 2 wolves running beside us.

“What’s going on?” I asked

“A welcome” Connor said looking on the road.

Connor pulled over and stopped at a big white mansion pack house.

“Let me go out first” Connor said

Then he went talk to the wolf that directed to us here.

Then Connor opened our doors and I scented everything in here and the sun was glaring my eyes.

Then I grabbed Connor’s hand and said “Brother, don’t tell him”

“Are you sure?” he said and I nodded.

Then I scented a strong smell that pleases me. And a man came out with  shining green eyes – a serious tough guy – tougher that Connor. And then he looked at me in the eyes and my heart was beating fast. My claws came out and Emily looked at me.

“Leira?” she said

I could hear Amber telling me ‘mate’ she wanted to get out. But I contained her. We were still having an eye contact when I noticed my eye color changing so I went inside the car looking at my hand. Trying to control Amber back and I looked back outside and Connor was talking to him.

‘Leira, for 122 years we’ve been looking for him’ Amber said

Then the door opened and a strong scent came in.

“So why are we hiding?” he said with a deep voice his eyes was sparkling with the glares of the sun.

I stared at him and he held my hand. Making Amber’s claw get in.

He didn’t smile like a normal person. I felt my eyes cold knowing it changed back.

“I could control her” he said. And I went out and he was holding my hand not reacting to how cold it was when Connor and Emily held them. Then Emily was smiling knowing that this man is my mate.

“Come on, let’s get inside” he said and went to his office.

My heart was pounding and I couldn’t control it. Amber was gladly happy that this man is holding my hand. Then he opened the door and let my hand go.

“Take a seat” he said and we all sat down.

“You brought me a monster Connor” he said looking at him.

“Don’t call her that – she’s a special wolf that’s all” Connor said

“State your business” the Alpha said

“Harc, a war is about to declare within us between the rogue’s and we need each other to win this war.” Connor said

He was silent and looked at me.

“My mate stays here and I with my allies will have you full supported” he said

I am gladly to stay and be with him.

“Leira?” Connor said

“Brother, he is my mate” I told him.

“Leira, this is a vicious man – I want you to reconsider” Connor said

Reading Connor’s thought that he is worried to leave me here. Connor doubting Harc.

“Brother, years that I waited – years that I have searched for him and he will support us and his allies.” I said

“Connor” Emily said

“It’s Leira’s decision.” Connor said

“Yes Harc, I am here to stay” I said looking at him. His eyes with a dark shadow.

“Welcome to Stone Cold Pack” Harc said

I then looked on Connor “Connor, I will be wherever you and your family be.”

“Leira, I am one call away  if this guy hurts you – you understand?” Connor said

“And I’d be one howl away” I told him.

“You can stay as long as you want Connor” Harc said

“Thank You” Emily said. Then Harc nodded.

Then we went out to feel comfortable. Harc was holding my hand and said “So, why were your eye's color changing?”

As he pulled me and I talked to him.

“These are secrets that you are to unfold. My Amber eyes is a warn for signs of trouble – a rogue or threat nearby – a sign I am not safe. And my blue eyes is a sign of safety.” I told him.

“Well – you have my secrets to unfold either” he said “But I know for sure that you are a monster"

“Well, come on I’ll show you our room” he said pulling my hands then went up 2 floors and to the last door.

Then he opened it. And his scent was blown right through me.

His room was of a white and blue mixture and not too much of a kind.

I had my walls up so he won’t look right through me.

“Thank You” I told him

Then I scented a wolf of a beta – scent coming and then knocked.

“Alpha, this is Leira’s bag.” He said

And Harc said “Leira, this is my beta – Joseph”

And I nodded to him. And then Joseph left.

“Would you like us to get more of your stuffs?” he said

“I don’t have anything – this clothes even came from Emily and Kachina” I told him.

And he said “What?”

“I came from a different place Harc” I said

“Where is that place?” he asked as I can’t read his thought. He had his wall up.

“You’ll know” I said and he looked at me.

“Okay, it doesn’t matter.” He said

Then added “Make yourself comfortable” and I knew it was to shower, clean up and get dress.

After everything I was in a floral blue navy dress and a used the Keds shoes.

Then I went down and saw Connor and Harc talking.

And Connor came to me and said “Leira, I need to tell you something.”
