Chapter 3
We arrived home and went straight to Akule’s office.
“How’s your roam?” he asked
“Well – it was very good.” I answered
“I want you to prepare for tonight” he said
I was trying to read Akule’s mind but he was strongly blocking me.
“Come on – Leira” Kachina said and Emily followed us.
We all went to the kitchen as they were cooking for the gathering tonight.
“Would you like to help?” Kachina said
“Yeah – I would” Ianswered and Emily handed me the grater and cheese.
“Emily, what pack did you came from?” I asked. And she was surprised to my question.
“How’d you know that?” she said
“I could smell from your wolf’s scent a different signature of smell.” I said
“Amazing” she exclaimed and said “I am from the Jade Mountain Pack and I met Connor in the boundaries.” She said
“I need to go to see the other packs” I said and she asked “Why?”
“It’s a business beyond the Alpha’s” I said
“I understand” she said and sensed Connor coming.
“Will you accompany me with Connor?” I asked
Then Connor came hugged and kissed Emily and said “I heard my name.”
“Will you help me travel through the neighboring packs?” I asked
“Sure – as long as we get permission to the Alpha.” He said
“Thank You” I said as I continued to grate cheese.
Then the hour came and wolf scent was all over. Mark and Jeff was with my side.
Then Akule in his Alpha voice got everyone’s attention.
“Good evening Ladies and Gentleman I summoned you all here to meet my daughter Leira – a new member of the pack.” He said pointing at me.
And everyone clapped their hands and Akule added “One more thing that I have to say, we run in groups of 6 – as Rogues sighting is be happening we need to double our defenses to make sure we don’t get wiped out.”
Then everybody got serious.
And Akule said “As long as we help each other – no one could ever defeat us.” Then a long pause and he said “That’s all I have to say, enjoy the night.”
Then everyone scrambled and a guy came to me “Hi I’m Chris, Connor’s beta” he said
“Leira” I said then nodded gracefully and went to the dining table and sat facing Emily again.
Then a guy came and said “I am Honani – Akule’s beta”
I stood and nod at him again.
Then I heard a wolf growl – irritating to the ear so I looked at the man in his eyes and said “Stand down wolf” then the growl got away and everyone was surprised to what I did.
“Your wolf had found it’s mate and is mad of you denying it” I said and sat down.
Everyone was looking at him and Kachina said “Raymond you and I are talking after dinner.” With a soft voice.
“Your daughter is a rare-type” Honani said looking at Akule.
“I would practically wouldn’t want to mess with her.” He said loudly so everyone could hear.
I’m not caring for what their saying I’m just enjoying my dinner which is super delicious.
I mind link ‘Kachina, your cooking is impeccable’
Then she answered ‘Thank You my Lady’
After dinner everyone said their good byes and I went to Akule’s office finding him there.
“What can I do to you, my Lady?” he said and I could feel Emily and Connor standing beside me.
Then I sat down “Akule, in 3 days I need to keep going and gather everyone that i could and I need Connor and Emily to come with me. And travel across the neighboring Pack.” I said
“Not a problem my Lady” he said
Then Connor said “My Lady, the fourth of the pack that we are to travel are fighters and vicious. A killer in their soul.”
“I understand” I replied
Then I went outside and gazed through the moon.
Akule’s Pack has been good and hospitable.
Then Jeff and Mark came, Jeff said “Leira, you can’t be in the open alone.”
“It’s okay – no rogue will attack in your defense.” I said
“But still I think we should head in.” Mark said
