Chapter 13

            We were at Harc’s office discussing what to do to the pack that had been wiped when the door opened and a man with a woman hugged Harc.

            “You’re such a good Alpha, Harc” The woman said then the man said “I’m proud of you son.”

            Harc was silent but I knew he was happy seeing them.

            “Mom – Dad this is my mate Leira.” Harc said looking at me.

            “Oh my God! You’re such a beauty.” The woman said and hugged me and immediately removed herself. “Honey, you’re so cold.” She said

            “Mom, she’s different.” Harc said

            “Nice meeting you kid” the man said and was offering to shake my hand so I shook it and then he said “Really cold”

            “Leira, this is my Mom Ali and my Dad Newton” Harc said

            His parents were looking at me differently.

            “What pack do you belong before here?” Ali asked.

            “Acharya’s Pack” I said

            “Ahh. From Akule – a good man” Newton said

            “I would be glad to meet your parents” Ali said

            “Akule adopted me” I told them.

            “Oh, sorry about that” Ali said

            “I’m glad meeting you.” I told them.

            “Oh honey we have been waiting for years for you to arrive.” Ali said

            “Since you’re here – I think a pack meeting could finally happen.” Harc said

            “Okay – we’ll leave you two and continue what you were doing.” Newton said and they went out closing the door.

            “Don’t mind them.” Harc said and I just stared at the door.

            “Leira?” Harc said as I internalize what his parents were thinking – pups.

            Then I looked back to him and I was lost.

            “Come on, let’s do this some other time.” He said standing up and held my hands.

            “What do we do now?” He asked and I shrugged.

            “Visit the tent” I suggested.

            “Yeah – come on let’s check that Alpha” He said and went out.

            We walked a little and saw the green tent. The Alpha was already awake. But still couldn’t seat.

            “Thank You Harc” he said

            “Miles, what happened?” Harc asked.

            “They infiltrate our place and gathered information other imposed as us, others can’t be sniffed. They used silver for a flash attack.” He said
