Days has passed and we were preparing to travel to Connor’s wedding.
“Leira, make sure you don’t forget anything you need” Ali reminded
And I nodded. Then went up to finish my packing.
I went up and saw Harc fixing his things.
“Harc, where’s your tux?” I asked
“It’s in the cabinet with your dress” he said and then I opened the cabinet to see it hanged with plastic so I removed it and hanged it near our luggage.
Newton then came and said “Kids, don’t forget the gifts” he reminded and handed a lot of gifts.
“Thank You Mr. Jansen” He said
“Call me pops” he then said
“Thanks Pops” I then said
“Anything for the both of you” He said and chuckled then left.
“Your dad is nice.” I then told Harc
“He’s the best Leira” Harc said
“Leira, did you pack your sandals?” he asked
I then remembered and said “Tsk. Sorry” – almost forgetting about it.
“No problem babe. Come on give it to me, I’ll put it on my bag” he said then I gave it to him, stood near him and then he looked at me, “Thank you” I said and then wrapped my hands to his waist and then kissed him.
Then he closed his duffel bag and said “We’re ready”
“Aaah babe, I need to talk to my dad and Joseph before we go” he said as we went down and he went straight to his office. I went to the kitchen and found Juana and Ali.
“Hi darling, are you very well packed?” Ali asked
“Yes Mrs.Jansen, we are” I answered
“Could you please call me mom from now on?” Ali pleaded
“Yes Mom” I said
“Yey” she said and then hugged me.
“So, why were you here anyway” she asked
“If you need help – I just knew you were both here” I said
“Aaah.. Please tell Akule I told you that I wanted a crescent” Juana said
“No problem. I will tell him” I told Juana with a confused look.
“So when are the both of you leaving?” Ali asked
