Chapter 16

                A letter came and it was from Connor I opened it and it was a wedding invitation. I jumped gladly with what they are having.

                “Harc, can you call Connor please?” I said barging to his office.

                “What’s wrong?” he asked in a worried face so I handed him the invitation.

                “Unbelievable” Harc said and then took his phone in his pocket.

                “Leira, I gave you an iPhone” he said forgetting about the gadget he brought.

                Then he dialed Connor and handed it to me.

                I heard Connor’s voice so I screamed happily.

                “Conn--------------------or! Congratulations brother” I said

                “Thank you Leira” Connor said and then I heard Emily

                “Leira? Leira I’m glad you called – I guess you had the invitation?” Emily said

                “Yes- yes- yes! Congratulations Emily” I said       

                “You’re one of the maids so come here at least a day early.” Emily ordered.

                “Can I ask Harc about it?” I said

                “No, give the phone to him” Emily said

                So I handed the phone to Harc and they talked then I heard “Okay Connor, we’ll be there a day early.” And then hanged up.

                “Yes! Thank You Harc” I told him.

                I was excited about it. Connor and Emily were great people. I hope Harc and I could someday be like them.

                Then I waved Harc goodbye and went out. I went to our room and took my phone trying to explore it. And I read my messages sent from Emily and I tried to reply back as slow as I could get.

                “This is hard” I mumbled

                Harc then came and saw me on my phone.

                “How’s your exploring?” he asked

                “It’s hard I could tell but I’m getting used to it.” I told him.

                “Come here – I’ll show you the basics” he said so I went to him and handed my phone. He explained me things and by that I understand it very well.

                He tapped my back and smiled to me.

                “Where in the world did you come from Leira?” he then said

                “Someday Harc, you’ll know” I said and he looked at me with a smile.

                “Come on lunch is ready” he said

                We went down and had lunch with everyone. They were talking about how the rogue’s are doing and then Ali said “Leira, would you like us to go to the mall?”
