"This will be the quarter that you will be using until the wedding ceremony, My Lady." The head sang-gung said. 

The last few days passed by in a flash. While she was wrecking her brains to find ways to return home, without her paying attention, she was chosen as the new Queen. When she heard about the news, she was very surprised. After all, her entrance to the palace for this selection is not because she wanted to be the Queen. To tell the truth, Joy felt that she did not even give in her best during all the tests. Furthermore, she was even caught breaking the rules!

Still, she chosen as the Queen. Maybe this is fate playing with me, she thought.

"I am Han sang-gung, and we will be serving you from now on." With the finishing of her last word, all the female palace attendants assigned to her bowed their head low.

"Ah, yes.." Joy stuttered as she felt uncomfortable with them bowing to her. She has seen--even acted-- in period dramas but she still finds it awkward when so many people bowed to her at once as if she's an important figure.

"My Lady..." Han sang-gung spoke with hesitance.

"Aa-at ease," Joy quickly realised that she has to give them permission to return to their original position. "Sorry."

Queen Inhyeon is an important figure after all...

While most would cheer at the news that Minister Min's daughter has been selected as the Queen, there are some who were unhappy with the news.

"LOOK AT WHAT YOU DID! Didn't you say you will take care of it?" Minister Kim shouted at Minister Seo. "How are you going to report to Prime Minister Heo now?"

"I thought we wouldn't need to do anything since that girl violated the palace rules herself.  I really didn't expect the Queen Dowager to forgive her even after she broke the rules. We all know that Queen Dowager can't tolerate such behaviour." Minister Seo retorted. "However, she did kick out the other girl who was with Minister Min's daughter that night."

Prime Minister Heo stood outside, overhearing their conversation. Just a few days ago, they had gathered in the same office, discussing over the same matter. 

"Minister Min's daughter entered the final round of the selection of the new Queen." Minister Kim had shared this news with them at that time.

"Is that so?"

"Yes, Prime Minister Heo."

"Very well, then we just have to remove her before she got selected." He remembered himself giving them a slight smirk before his face resumed seriousness. "Find whatever means to remove her." He ordered Minister Seo.

"Yes, I will take care of it. Then, I shall take my leave."

No matter how long time had passed, he can still remembered his thoughts. Queen Dowager of Joseon, how silly of you to think that with Minister Min's help, the puppet King will gain power. Once a puppet King, forever he will be.

However, within just two days, the table had overturned. 

"So, now what? Are we really going to do nothing and watch the puppet King rise in power, with the help of Minister Min?" He overheard Minister Seo's question.
