Mia and Gideon was in his cabin. Gideon was sat on couch thinking in his life, thinking that he ran away from Quantico, Virginia because the monsters that he deal with every day and then he came to Roanoke to be free and he falling in love with a woman that brings a unsub to his life again and that was too much to him.
Mia went to him and put her hands in his shoulders and asked: "are you okay?"
"i'm fine." He said in a cold voice, taking her hands off him and then getting up and going to the porch.
Mia goes behind him and asks him, "Is something wrong?"
"what?" He asked turning around. "everything is alright." He told her avoiding eye contact.
"Are you sure?" She asks.
"Yes, you'd better go." He said pulling her arms away, then turned his back on her and stepped inside leaving Mia alone.
"i call you tomorrow" she said. Gideon come back and said:
"no, it's better i call you." he said and turn around.
Mia left Gideon's cabin and got into her car and went home.
She laid on her couch and cry, cry until she couldn't cry enough.. "what's going on?" she though to herself. One minute Gideon was a romantic born and a very kindness man that pull her close to him and other minute he was this cold man that push her away.
Mia was crying on the couch when someone ring on her door.
she went answered. It was Kate, her bestfriend.
"what happen?" Kate ask.
"i don't know. Gideon was kind yesterday, because my life was in dangerous, but today, he was away, cold. Like he didn't want to be with me and he told me that i should leave." Mia said.
"leave, how?" ask Kate.
"his home. and for not calling him. He said that he calls me." Mia said.
"honey ,you need party." said Kate.
"no, i need to be alone for a second. Come back tomorrow, if you do not mind." she said.
"okay then, see you tomorrow." said Kate and left.
it was already dark when Mia was in her couch reading a love story. she falling sleep half an hour later.
It already passes weeks and Gideon didn't call, Mia didn't now when he would call, or if she would ever see him again.
Gideon always avoid Mia if he see her. Mia knew he was avoid her but she didn't said anything, she focoused in her patients.
The more time passed, the more Gideon did not show up, did not care for Mia, it was as if Gideon had disappeared again. Richard one night made up his mind to go to Gideon's cabin to see if it was all right and he was sitting on the couch reading comfortably, unconcerned. He talked to Kate and she told him not to tell Mia, to say that nobody was home, so as not to hurt her.
Although Gideon seemed unconcerned, his heart would not stop beating hard every time he thought of her. Each time he read her name, or every time he remembered her, her kisses, the touches, everything.
