Mia woke up next to Gideon as usual, came close to him and kissed her neck. "Do we have to follow the tradition of marriage and sleep in separate houses tonight?"
Gideon turned to her and smiled. "We have to follow that, it's tradition. And it is said that it is unlucky for the couple to sleep together the day before the wedding."
Mia looked at him and smiled. "Okay, I'll have to put up with those two in my house."
"You do not have to go to her, you can go to Kate's house, if you ask her, she will." He said kissing her neck.
Mia feels a pang in the belly, in this case it was the baby to kick. "there!"
Gideon got up and touched his worried belly. "What are you doing?" he said.
"Yes, it was just the baby kicking." She said as she sat down.
Gideon kissed her on the forehead.

It was already seven-thirty in the afternoon when Mia went to Kate's. And it was the bachelor party.
Mia was sitting with her friends playing monopoly on the living room table with popcorn for all and orange juice. After all they saw a romantic movie and fell asleep on the sofa, only Mia slept in bed because of her condition, but Gideon called five times to ask if everything was okay.
"You have a man who cares." She told Kate.
"I know." Told Mia to smile and then they went home.
Gideon was in his cabin reading until Richard arrived.
"I've come to pre-marry you for your bachelor party."
"I hope you have not brought anyone from the opposite sex." Said Gideon.
"No, me. What do you like to do?" Asks Richard.
Do you play chess? Asks Gideon.
"I know how to play, yes. Do you want to play a match?"
"are you ready." And so was Gideon's bachelor party. Playing chess with Richard and later with Joe and Jane who showed up later.
They slept on the couch and on the floor, except for Gideon who slept in his bed.
And the next day she was going to marry Mia. The happiest day of their lives would start tomorrow.
