Ello Gov! Did I Mention That I Never Died?

Together Again

AN~ (warning. This Author Note mentions the hunting and killing of animals) My father has tramatized me. He was making gumbo. Phesant Gumbo. Thats not what freaked me out. And its sad to say that I'm used to watching my dad wripping up some kind of animal he hunted and putting it in food. No no what was worse was when he held up an carcus and said want to replace this with Bunny (Bunny is my stuff animal bunny that I used to sleep with). He was holding a rabbit that my brother shot. I am sorry if I have now freaked you out but *shudder* my dad is werid. I have also probably tramatized my friends by having them come over after my dad and brothers come home from hunting.

ANYWAY! People have asked it Tonks is coming back too.... you shall see.

By the way the picture at the side is drawn by me. I'm gona try and post a picture with every few chapters. This one is Harry with his white hair and hufflepuff scarf

Silence filled the room at Dumbledores words. A pin could be heard if you felt the need to drop it. "Pardon?" Lily finally asked, breaking the silence that would make a grave yard envous.

"I have said that Remus Lupin is alive. He is in my office right now." Dumbledore said. James and Sirius shared a look. Moony was alive? It seemed impossible and to good to be true. "But sir. How is this possible?" Hermione asked, her desire to know how this could be true could be seen threw her few words.

"I am not sure. We will find answers once we talk to Mr.Lupin. I would like all of you to occumply me to my office. If anyone would like to stay that is fine." Dumbledore didn't know why he added that last part. Everyone would want to see Remus.

"Ok then. Please come."

~Outside Dumbledores Office~

"Sir are you sure that this is actually Moony, I mean Remus?" Sirius asked the Headmaster. Dumbeldore looked over at Sirus. "No I did not checkif you want to say. But polyjuice potion wouldn't work on someone who is dead and you can't compleatly change your looks into someone elses. Not even Muggle Plastic Surgery can do that."

Sirius nodded in understanding so Dumbledore turned to the Gargoyal. "Blood Lollies." The Gargoyal jumped to the side at the mention of the password, letting everyone able to be able to head up in the office.

Albus turned around and faced the group. Then he spoke directly to James and Sirius. "You two should lead us. If this isn't the real Remus Lupin you will know. Now please, lead the way."  Sirius and James nodded and then they, standing side by side, headed up the moving spiril staircase that should lead them up to their last missing Marauder.

James turned the handle and then pushed open the door that opened to the Headmasters Office. Machines both flashing and spinning could be seen but no one took notice to them, for everyone had their gase locked on the man standing in the middle of the room with his back turned to them.

Just from looking at the back of the mans head they could see the hair graying. But there was no sign of going bald. The robes that the man were wearing were shabby, Patches could be seen along with stiches to fix rips. The pants were in no better shape then the robes. He was wearing loafers, which were seen fidgeting.

Just from the back view, Sirius and James had to doubt that this was their old friend Moony. James turned to Dumbledore, unsure of what he was supposted to do. Albus just waved him foward, meaning he wanted them to approch the man.

Sirius was the one to step foward. He gently tap the man on the shoulder. The man turned around, reveling the known face of Remus John Lupin.

Remus' mouth dropped open. Words seemed to be failing him. After about a minute Remus was finally able to speak. "S-Sirius? James? How is this... I'm dead. Must be dead."

Sirius shook his head. "You. Your not dead."

"But your dead. So that would mean I'm dead. I didn't think heaven would look like Dumbledores office." Remus said "It doesn't look like that or at least we don't know since none of us are dead." James spoke up.

Remus looked over at his friend that he hadn't seen in over 16 years. Before he could speak again,  Sirius cut him off. "Moony before you saying anything else let me just say this. Shut up and listen. Dumbledore can you take over from here?"

Dumbledore nodded and then said, "Mr. Lupin what is the last thing you remember?" Remus didn't even need a moments thought. "I was at the Battle of Hogwarts fighting Greyback. Once he was stunned to turned to see Nymphadora duelling Bellatrix. Bellatrix smiled and instead of pointing her wand back at Tonks she points it at me and kills me with Avada Kadavra."

Silence filled the room for different reasons. Remus was thinking about what had come about his wife while others were saddened by the mention of Remus' colorful wife.

"Remus let me tell you how the four of us, being myself Sirus and the Potters, are alive. It first started with James and Lily. I knew that Tom was after them so I played a spell on them that would put them into a sleep until the day came that Tom was destroyed. But before doing this I made duplicates of them that acted and did everything that would of done, meaning giving up themselfs for Harry. Then after the Triwizard Competion I did the same thing with Sirius. Then over the summer before the last I had Proffesor McGonagall did the same thing to me, right before I was to go looking for the first Horrixcrux." Dumbeldore paused her to let everything he said sink into Remus' head.

Then he contuined. "And if my guesses are right I would think that Tonk's did the same thing to you-" Dumbeldore stopped here and pulled out his wand, he cast a spell on Remus and the tip of his wand glowed blue. "-Yes the same thing was done to you to."

Remus was silent before talking. "But... what about Nymphadora? Is she...?" Remus seemed unable to finish his question. But Dumbeldore bowing his head was the answer to his question.

Tonks was dead.

Remus' knees gave way and we fell onto them on the floor. Remus just broke down. He had finally found his true love and now she was dead. Silent tears could be seen falling down Remus' face. James and Sirius both got onto their knees and wrapped Remus in a hug, squishing him inbetween them.

McGonagall, Hermione, Lily and even Ginny were crying. Crying not just for Tonks, but also for Remus.

~Later in the Sirius' office.~

The group had moved from the Headmasters office to Sirius'. The common room would have students in it and they need some place quiet and privet. Sirius' office was the closest so that is were they ended up.

James, Sirius and Remus sat on a couch in Sirius' living space. Remus was in the middle with James and Sirius both having one of their arms wrapped around their friends shaking shoulders. Remus had been given a steaming cup of hot chocolate but even that couldn't calm his rattled nerves.

All of a sudden, Remus; shoulders stopped shaking and he took a long sip of his drink. A sad smile was now on his face. James and Sirius were surprised when they were pulled into a hug. It seemed tha Remus had come to turms with Tonks being dead.

That didn't mean we wasn't sad.

Far from it.

But he did have something to be happy about. He had his best friends back.

First it seemed like the Marauders were down to one when James and Lily were killed and Sirius was still thought to be guilty. Then in Harry's third year there was happiness. The Marauders were back up to two. Two years later it was back to one again. Another two years and it would seem that all the Marauders were gone. But no.

They were back up to three again.

And Remus planned to keep it that way.

Suckish ending yes. Tonks still dead= also suckish. I'M SORRY ALL YOU TONKS FRIENDS! Please don't leave my story because I kept her dead. I wanted to bring her back but then I thought, I can't have everyone back, that wouldnt be a good book (if I wrote it) . Plus there was the fact I had no idea how to bring her back. I could only think of Remus.... I guess I could of had it Tonks alive and Remus dead but that'd be mean. Remus waits all those years to be with his friends and when he gets there he finds out that their alive and he still cant be with them? No. COMMENT!
