Preparation for War

AN~ Sorry I'm a day late. It was spirit day at my school and we were running around alot so I took a nap when i got home then my brother was hogging the computer. But its only a day late as opposed to a month. Again sorry about the whole month thing. Question: Does anyone watch Legend of Korra?

~After Dinner~

When dinner was over, Harry, Ron and Hermione headed over to the head table and towards Lily. "Hey mom!" Harry said as he approached his mother. "Hey honey. Is there somehting you wanted to tell me?" She asked. "Yes Mrs.Potter. We wanted to know if we are heading back to the Burrow for Christmas or staying at Hogwarts." Ron answered for Harry.

"We're staying here. Your mom sent me a letter Ron, her and your dad are spending Christmas with Percy and his girlfriend." James said, entering the conversation. At the confermation that they were staying at Hogwarts, a big grin spread over Harry's face. "Why are you all smily?" Sirius asked. "Cause Hogwarts Christmas' are the best. I love how the teachers decorate the Great Hall and the whole Castle just looks amazing." Harry said, the grin never leaving his face.

"And now its even better since I have my parents, Sirius, and Remus back."

~Christmas Eve.~

Harry woke up to the sound of Ron swearing out loud. "Whats wrong Ron?" He was sitting on his bed rubbing his toe.

"I got up from bed and stubbed my toe on the edge of my bloody trunk." Ron said. Harry couldn't help but laugh. "All shut up Harry." Ron said. Once Harry was done laughing Ron asked, "So we have any plans for today considering its Christmas Eve?"

"I would think that the Maruaders have something planned up their sleeves. Other then that I think we just going to be spending it as a group and doing the usual things we do at Christmas." Harry answered. "Well as long as I'm on the same team as your dad, Sirius and Remus while playing the snowball fight, I'm good."

~fast foward~

Turns out Ron wasn't going to be on the same team as the Maruaders. James, Sirius and Remus were their own team. Next it was Harry, Ginny and Lily. Finally it was Ron, Hermione and Neville who had been asked to join. Both Neville and Ron kept shooting worried glances in the general direction of the Maruaders.

"Ok so what are the rules?" Remus asked. "MOONY! It's a snow ball fight. THERE ARE NO RULES!" Sirius exclaimed. "Ok Padfoot. No need to yell since I am right next to you and cause of my hearing. I'm not used to your loud self just yet." Remus said as he rubbed his ears. "Oops. Sorry Moony."

"Anyway as Sirius was kind enough to tell us, there are no rules. But please refrain from anything that can be painful *cough* Maruaders *cough*" Lily said. Lily looked over at Remus' 'eh hem' face and then corrected herself. "And by Maruaders I really mean James and Sirius. Sorry Remus."

"You better me, or else I got my eye on you. Or rather my snowballs." Remus said with a somewhat evil smirk. Ron turned towards James, expecting him to pounch on his friend like he had pounched on him and Sirius. But instead, James also had an evil smirk on his face. "Don't hog that target Remus cause I'm aiming for the hair."

"Oh Its on Potter." Lily said. "Oh so its Potter now?" James asked with a smirk on his face. "When in war. Yes." Lily answered, also with a smirk on her face.

"Question. If Mr.Potter or Professor Potter...whatever you want to call him, is Potter while in the snowball fight, what do we call Harry?" Neville asked. Everyone turned to look at Harry who was already making some snowballs. "How bout the While Haired Wonder?" Hermione suggested.

Harry sent a glare towards Hermione. "You had to bring up my hair didn't you?" He asked. "Yup. So everyone in agreement that if Mr.Potter is just Potter then Harry is the White Haired Wonder?" Hermione asked. Everyone nodded except Harry who just had an annoyed expression on his face. "Since those two get nicknames I say, just for the fun of it, he give everyone else nicknames too." Ron suggested.

"Sounds great. I nominate Sirius as Mutt." Remus called out. "Oi thats hurtfull. Then I nominate Remus as lunatic." Sirius said.

"Low blow. Low blow." Remus said with a blank expression. "Ron is Won Won!" Hermione shouted. "OI! Now that is just uncalled for! Hermione's Herman then." Ron said. "What should I be?" Neville called out, feeling forgotten. "Hmm....how about Nelly?" Harry suggested. "Nelly?" Neville asked. "Combination of Neville and Longbottom." Harry explained. "I KNOW!" Sirius, or rather Mutt, exclaimed. "Plantzilla."

"Plantzilla?"

"Plantzilla."

Neville thought about it for a second. "Yah ok." he said. "Its better then Won Won."

"OI!"

"Sorry Ron!" Neville said and then turned to the person closest to him, which happened to be Hermione, and whispered "I'm not sorry."
